This was one of the best meals we had in Namibia. We had a lovely table over looking the ocean, Service good wine fab & not at all expensive, Comprehensive menu almost too much to choose from, I had fish which was lovely my only complaint is that the servings were massive, but no doubt other would like this .... Great wine and food once again, the only downside is as the popularity grows you now definitely need to book in advance

Lovely setting and elegant decor but the night we were there the list of what was unavailable was longer than the Chefs specialities and the staff just lacked the professionalism suited to an upmarket spot. Most seafood was not available and this limited the menu substantially. My husband did have the pot of mussels for starters and then the springbok... More

I took my fiancé there for his birthday lunch and we had a good experience. The place was quiet as it was a Thursday round about 1. We ordered and received quick service. The waitress was also friendly. However as lunch progressed more people entered the restaurant and the waiter was swamped. We had to wait longer for our orders.... More

We booked a table at this restaurant for our 5th wedding anniversary, and upon arrival we were met with the news that the booked had not been placed. After being led to the bar to have a drink, the waiter told his that our table was booked, but the person who took the booking had forgotten to place it in... More

We ordered fresh fish but it was probably frozen and not very nice at all. The chips were horrible. Prices were expensive as are all Swakopmund/WB restaurants. Definitely better places to eat even though the view was nice.

We were staying in Atlantic Villa Boutique Guest House as part of a group of 16 from the UK. We were recommended this restaurant by our guide. Very nice decor, located right on the beach. The food was very good but there was a problem with staff communication - they seemed to be training the staff as the night went... More

We did not expect this luxury here, the restaurant was recommended by the guesthouse owners and they made the reservation. A little underdressed but we really enjoyed the dinner and the spectacular view on the sunset side.

Even though we were seated at the worst table in the entire restaurant probably due to our late booking, the Wreck turned out to be an excellent place to eat, and probably the best restaurant in Swakopmund. Next time we visit Swakopmund we will be sure to make a booking a little further in advance. The food was delicious and... More
