This out of the way café restaurant is owned and operated by Siyeed who should have a gallery as well as a restaurant. Wander the grounds as he prepares lunch and you will be treated to some unique visuals before you sit down to a tastey and very well prepared meal. The host is engaging, the food is excellent and... We stumbled upon this little gem while lost in a rental car near Sidi Kaouiki beach. We were looking for some waterfalls which we'd heard about, and had driven much further than we anticipated down a long one lane road in rural Morocco. So it was quite a surprise to find this cafe. The owner couldn't have been friendlier. He... More

I enjoyed lunch here as part of a Photo Walk organised by Images in the Sun. Our lunch was a very tasty omelette, expertly prepared by the owner Siad. The Garden and views here are wonderful, lots of sculptural pieces to photograph and a sun terrace to soak up the sunshine. I recommend!

Helen & Said are the most amazing hosts! Fantastic home cooked food, casual but informative walks in the stunning surrounding countryside, attentive but not obtrusive service all make for a perfect stay! We stumbled across this cafe/restaurant/b&b whilst exploring the area and after having a coffee with a view to die for and a quick tour of the house we... More

We stopped here on the way back from a Berber souk. Sayeed was an excellent host, and we had lovely food there. The view over the hills to the sea is stunning, and this is a quiet, peaceful location. Excellent. We were lucky to have a tour of his private riad, with even better views from the roof terrace.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting a local souk and were treated to a wonderful meal, freshly prepared and accompanied by a huge plate of lovely Moroccan appetisers. The shaded outdoor seating provides an unfettered view of the ocean. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and made our brief visit a pleasure.

Wow, what an amazing day we had. I fell in love with Dar Na straight away, it's such a stylish property with sublime views. Helen took us on a walk through the countryside, we passed shepherds with sheep and goats. The surrounding landscape was beautiful especially when we arrived at the waterfall. The views of the beach are breathtaking. We... More

This privately owned riad by sayeed and his English wife Helen is perfect if you want to be off the beaten track but close to the sea and the charming seaside town of Esseouira. sayeed is the consummate host and guide if you want to see authentic Morocco. We will be back!

This is a new cafe resturant run by a Moroccan and his English wife serving locally produced fresh food in a pretty garden with fantstic views of mountains, river and the sea. There are also a couple of en suite rooms to rent which looked very comfortable. We would recomment this for anyone who wants a day out of Essaouira... More
