A nice, cozy restaurant. It's set back a little from the main tourist stream. The female staff running it does a great job.

The meals were very nicely presented and everything was fresh. It is a nice place to have dinner for a reasonable price.

Ate here on our 2nd night in Essaouria, is a sister restaurant to atiiliers and every bit as good. Menu is different so worth trying both restaurants. All our meals were made with fresh ingredients and nicely presented. Good choice of wines as well.

Whenever we want to escape the noise and hustle of the Medina, we retreat to Chez LILi, for the freshest and most exquisitely prepared food in Essaouira. Her fantastic, filet de boeuf, tagine filet d'agneau, fresh fish of the day, tarte aux lesgumes, and her exceptional mousse au chocolat all add up to an exceptional, restful and charming evening in a space that is both... There are so many wonderful restaurants in Essaouira, it's hard to know which one to go to. We chose this one because the 85 Dirham menu looked like good value, and i remembered seeing good reviews on tripadvisor. However, once seated in this sweet restaurant, having been warmly greeted with a big, genuine smile, we both decided to choose from... More

This intimate restaurant has a warm, homely feel and was the perfect place to go out to with a partner. Everything, from the beautiful photos included in the menu to the free appetiser, added to our love of La Cle. The owner was warm and friendly, making good recommendations. The food was sublime. All very very fresh and top quality... More

Had the best meal of our visit to Essaouira in this little gem. Beautiful room and the lady who served us was so lovely. The food was incredible! I had a goats cheese starter, a monkfish tagine, a fried apples with ice cream for dessert. Lovely every mouthful.
