A small, intimate, unique restaurant offering excellent food. Booked by our Riad Baladin manager, Claudia, (booking is a must), we arrived to be greeted warmly and shown to our table. Three courses later - salad & soup starter and tajines and decided not to have dessert; just mint tea (ask for "sans sucre" if you don't want the tea too... More

The owner of the Riad we stayed at called the owners and asked them if they would mind coming over to Lunetoil and walking us over to Miyame. The owner was gracious and came and picked us up and walked us back. We ate there twice because the food and the service was excellent. The owner also told the owners... More

Lovely cosy restaurant. Very good food (especially the kefta tagine with figs and nuts) at very reasonable prices. Service a little slow, but a very enjoyable evening.

We ate at Miyame on a tip from an ex-pat we met while coming into Essaouira and we could not have been happier about eating there. The ambiance is wonderful. The decor is authentic and interesting. You eat on these low benches by candlelight and they've done a wonderful job of giving this restaurant an incredible exotic feel. The food... More

We visited 2 days in a row as so good. This is real home made Moroccan cooking and it is ALL delicious as I listened to our neighbours comments. Best to reserve as only 6 tables.

We stayed at Essaouira for two days, and we had dinner at Miyame both nights. Not because of nowhere better to go, but because the first night was such a delightful experience that we wanted to repeat! The photos do not really represent the place, it is far more "mystical" and relaxing than what it seems. Small place, only 5... More

We went to Miyame with friends who know Essaouira well and thoroughly enjoyed both meals we had there. It is tiny so you need to book. Excellent home cooking - grilled lamb cutlets and fish tagine were fantastic, as were the briwatte (sp?) The standard "Moroccan salad" was also very good indeed. The owners were delightful (admittedly they knew our... More

We were recommended here by our Ryad owners and ate here after eating at other restaurants in Essaouria. We arrived with high expectations after reading Trip Advisor reviews. Yes the food is good and extremely cheap but in our view there are better restaurants in Essaouria. In fact when selecting a restaurant for our last night Miyame was last on... More
