Number 1 for me (=

The best vegetarian tajine I had and I had a few! Nicely spiced and an amazing value for your money. I also had a taste of the delicious Moroccan cakes and the apple tart - yumm yumm! There are only 5 tables, so book before you go!

The place, atmosphere and staff were all almost perfect, the food tastless, uninteresting and well bellow the better Moroccan restaurants. My wife's Lamb kuskus was boiled to mush with lamb that was hard and stringy as though the sheep had been as old as the Medina. My chicken Tajine was basicly a cooked chicken with some vegetables and very little... More

We came here several times because the food and service are excellent! Anything you wish for is possible. The staff remembers you and what you like/dislike. The couscous royale is the best I have ever had, same goes for the vegetarian tagine (only 35 Dh). When you want to have an authentic experience, GREAT food for ridiculously low prices, head... Simple food excellently prepared and good value. A memorable meal. We were taken there by a local but it was full so we had to book for another evening. The assorted fish was flavoured in a way I have never come across before and I will remember the rare pleasure it gave me. No wine or beer; good value.

Good food, simple and tasty and great service and atmospheric surroundings. A lovely place to try local cooking and experience an intimate medina setting.

My wife and I came across this little restaurant whilst wandering around Essaouira and went in as it looked so enticing. It is charming and the food is very good. I ordered small prawns that were so delicious that I ate them with their shells on. My wife had wok fried vegetables with rice that were also delicious. Simple food... More

Tucked away in a quiet section of the medina, this tiny restaurant is pure charm. The two person team in the kitchen are great hosts and serve up superb dishes. The decor and seating relax the senses as soon as you walk in. Not to be missed!

We stumbled upon Miyame while exploring the medina and came back for dinner one evening (tip: come early as it fills up quickly). The decor was charming, we loved the tiles on the walls and the soft lighting, it was quite magical, in a simple, understated way. The service was warm and friendly, we chatted and laughed with the cook,... More

A very pleasant surprise. Excellent traditional , tasteful, fresh cuisine by people who really know what they are doing. The briouates were crisp and savoury with a fresh salad. The sardines were fantastic fresh, cooked just enough and seasoned to perfection. For dessert the apple tarte was delicious. A very pleasant meal for a very honest quality/price ratio.
