Not flash, just good cooking. As other's have said, there's only seven tables so book ahead. It's very reasonably priced. There's only one guy serving and he was being pulled in every direction. We weren't in any hurry and when the food arrived it was so worth the wait. No alcohol served here. Just good Moroccan food. Enjoy!

Wonderful food, best price for this high quality... Can't say anything more, you've got to go and try, everything was fresh and delicious, authentic food in Marrakech and Essaouria us often very uninterestingly seasoned, sometimes the ingredients are old; HERE it was all perfect!!! The merguez in this restaurant is the best i ever tried!

Good value, great food and a traditional (ish) restauant we found on our last day in Essa. Only seats around 12-15 people but this place was both the cheapest and best place we had dined out in Essa on our last trip 7 of us sat down to eat both starters and main courses, mostly the soups for starters which... A small, intimate, unique restaurant offering excellent food. Booked by our Riad Baladin manager, Claudia, (booking is a must), we arrived to be greeted warmly and shown to our table. Three courses later - salad & soup starter and tajines and decided not to have dessert; just mint tea (ask for "sans sucre" if you don't want the tea too... More

The owner of the Riad we stayed at called the owners and asked them if they would mind coming over to Lunetoil and walking us over to Miyame. The owner was gracious and came and picked us up and walked us back. We ate there twice because the food and the service was excellent. The owner also told the owners... More

Lovely cosy restaurant. Very good food (especially the kefta tagine with figs and nuts) at very reasonable prices. Service a little slow, but a very enjoyable evening.

We ate at Miyame on a tip from an ex-pat we met while coming into Essaouira and we could not have been happier about eating there. The ambiance is wonderful. The decor is authentic and interesting. You eat on these low benches by candlelight and they've done a wonderful job of giving this restaurant an incredible exotic feel. The food... More

We visited 2 days in a row as so good. This is real home made Moroccan cooking and it is ALL delicious as I listened to our neighbours comments. Best to reserve as only 6 tables.
