Pasta Baladin is a popular place to eat, so I would get there early, not unless you don't mind waiting (which is not normally long). They actually do takeaway also, which was nice as you could walk down to the beach to eat. Food was tasty and at such an affordable price. I would definitely recommend this as one of... More

Simple but yummy pasta dishes in a small funky restaurant. Was pretty quite when we visited but would imagine it would be great when super busy too!

Nice atmosphere, good pasta, competitive prices. And the portion was of good size. So the basics are covered. No surprises and the price was also competitive. Heartily recommended.

I'm always a little disappointed if I try something and it isn't better than I could make at home. The pasta bolognese was just average. The service was good, but i felt that the flavours needed a little boost.

My wife and I arrived with our baby daughter from Morocco into Essaouria a little later than we expected and were pleased to find a restaurant offering a takeaway service. We typically aim to eat local food whilst traveling around, but it is sometimes nice to eat something more familiar... like Italian pasta! To be honest, I was a little... More

This is a good choice if you're looking for something beside tagines and couscous, and was quite good value. The pasta was simple but nice and was just what we were after, however the service was awful. We were the first people to arrive at about 7pm and we had to ask a number of times for a menu and... This was a nice place to come after some serious over-indulgence in hard-core Moroccan food. The pasta here is simple, if somewhat overcooked (but maybe that's my problem - my husband didn't notice or care). It's pretty fast food - not the kind of place you'll stay for long. But if you weren't planing on making an evening of it,... More

We wanted a simple meal after a few nights of overindulgence. This little restaurant offers superb value. No great choice- but everything is home cooked in front of you and tasty. We had the pasta with chilli and garlic - amazing kick! And pasta with salmon and cream sauce. Both yummy. Bill with bread, oils, olives, two cokes and a... More

If you're looking for a change to the Moroccan tajines, this is a great choice! 6 of us ate here and all were very pleased with their meal. Great variety, fresh ingredients and impressive interior and vibe of restaurant. Great value of money as quite cheap! Definitely heading back

Good choice of pasta and sauces - cooked to perfection, as good as in Italy . Fresh ingredients and pasta al dente which was a surprise .... In 5 days we ate there twice including takeaway - the carbonara and fruit de mare was delicious -with fresh Parmesan , loved it
