Lovely taste of home.

Fabulous tea and scones and carrot cake. If you fancy a little taste of home - this is the place! It's positioned in a lovely little square where you can sit back and watch the world go by. Would love to have gone back for the famous burgers but we were leaving that evening.

Great little find on a visit to Essaouira. Stopped for drinks then returned for lunch. Had chilli burgers which were advertised as the best burgers in North Africa, they didn't disappoint also the chocolate cheesecake was delicious

After reading about this restaurant on trip advisor, we decided to find it and give it a try. We were on the busy Main Street of the medina and wanted to get away from all the crowds and madness so we walked through little streets and stumbled across the little square where 'La Cantina' is situated so we were very... I'd already decided to find this cafe after reading some great reviews and we weren't disappointed. It's set away from the main strip that runs through the medina in a peaceful little square. The owner makes delightful homemade cakes if you just want something light to eat or alternatively the burgers and salads are also delicious if you want something... More

Rann by an English lady, this is one of the best restaurants in Essaouira, when you want to have a fine lunch. Omelets, pasta's, burgers, English tea, great smooties and much more lovely food. Settled on a small square in the middle of the medina,Rue Boutouil, but really great. A gotta see when you are in this beautiful village. and... More

Loved it! Such welcoming staff, and really great food for veggies. Not traditional Moroccan food but the setting is idyllic in a pretty square that is very relaxed. Great tea and cakes too.

We had there the best hamburgers ever! The meat burguer was amazing and their veggiburger was delicious! I do not forget to mention their nice staff: a Dutch and an English lady who treated us perfectly. If you are tired of the moroccan food (in 2 weeks we really were) this is one of the best options you will find... More

It is just... sweet. I'll be hopeless to tell you how to find this sweet, little gem of a cafe in the medina. (You can find it on GoogleMaps) It is tiny and unimposing but charmingly located in a bright "square" off one of the two main arteries that run through the medina, Avenue Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah. I was... More
