Extensive choice of good ice cream. A good place to sit and watch the world go by on Place Moulay Hassan.

Moroccan ice cream, no, give it a miss, there are no cows in the fields around here, do you think they use goat's milk.

You can only make Italian ice cream in Italy. Service was desultory. Ice cream was tasteless and melty (it wasn't that hot, so no excuse). Not to be repeated. But it does have a great location in the main square.

Great location and the ice creams look terrific. But, hanging on the wall is a breakfast menu so we chose this spot fir a bit if breakfast. Once seated we discovered there were two choices for a set breakfast. Both very similar. Coffee, orange juice and a pastry. Exactly what i fancied, but it wasn't quite what i was expecting.... More

This is restaurant on the main square just before the entrance to the medina. Long list of ice cream and gelato treats. Also small meals and snacks. Sit outside in the sun and relax to the sounds of the musicians that stroll fro place to place. Service was very fast. Good coffee and Lattes.

Good selection of gelato, about 12 every day. Prices reasonable - in Sept 2012 18 Dr. for 3 scoops. This is decent gelato, and for gelato in Morocco it is very good, but don't expect it to be great gelato by the standards you may be used to. This is clearly factory made stuff, and some of the "flavours" are... More

True Italian ice cream with all its great flavours in the middle of the medina of the most laid back place in Morocco, for mere 12dh a cup - heaven!

I tasted ice cream in this place several times. If you like ice cream, prepared with the standards of an Italian artisanal place, then this is the place to go. Good value for money.

The best ice cream we have found in Essaouira - wide range of flavours from basic lemon icecream to creme caramel icecream. Melon was my favourite. Nice pies and great coffee. Speak good english. Been every day for the last three days! 12dhs for two scoops in a cup or cone and 18dhs for three scoops in a cup.
