A large comfortable restaurant serving alcohol. Food was OK to good. A lively place with music (although music not as good as Cafe des Arts). As a non-smoker it was slightly spoiled by the constant smoking of the Italians on the next table and being seated in an alcove there was nowhere for the smoke to go. Why don't smokers... More

We were recommended Le Sirocco by the owner of our Riad. We arrived to a fiesta atmosphere with live music, and a few enthusiastic diners on the d-floor We were seated straight away, and proceeded to order a bottle of wine (120dirhams) which was decent for the price. I had sea bass and my partner had John Dory - both... More

This is the very best restaurant in Essaouira, fantastic good traditional Morrocan dishes served with contemporary flair veryreasonably priced..with excellent wine card. It's a fabulous little place, super decor, great attentive staff working hard for their guests. We found this quite by chance and only on our last night :( such a pity would have eaten there every night without... More

Probably one of the nicest service in a restaurant that I ever experienced. Delicious lamb cooked slowly for 6 hours. Nice Moroccan wines. Live music. Friendly place.

We had a very nice experience at Le Sirocco on New Year's Eve...found the set menu to be very reasonably priced and good food. Was amazing to see that there were only 2 waiters working dinner. The tables were decorated and the band was really great and had alot of the guests up and dancing. Once it was midnight, they... More

We were blown away by our overall experience here. From the warm welcome, the delightful ambiance, the amazingly good food, and that fantastic trio of musicians who had everyone up and spontaneously dancing to a catchy Moroccan number ( we aren't dancers and there was no pressure), it was simply one of the best, most unforgettable dining experiences of our... We ordered the John Dory and Conger eel tagine both of which were tasty although I didn't realize there would be quite as many bones in the eel so watch out. The French/Moroccan music helps to cover the kitchen serving food a bit slowly. The basic Domaine de Sahari red wine was only just passable, I'd invest in the reserve variety.... More
