The food here was very good and just what we were looking for...a nice American steak and mashed potatoes. The atmosphere is very beautiful and relaxing and we enjoyed some nice wine. The service is a little slow but gives you more of a chance to really unwind.

we stayed at the hotel upstairs and they recommended this place for a restaurant that served good moroccan food. it did not disappoint! food was not cheap (as compared to other food in the area; but still much less expensive than at home), but it was prepared well and absolutely delicious! they also serve local wine and beer.

I have eaten at After Five four times, the last occasion being three years ago. How things change....back then i would have rated this restaurant with top marks. I think the managment need to decide on being one of Essaouria's better restaurants or a drinks venue for the kiss kiss kiss Taros darlings, If you've been to Taros you will... More

Trade mark oversized lampshades make this place memorable. And it was warm on a typical cool evening in April in this windy city. Couples dressed well and better off grown up family groups. A place to look smart and pose. Not a hippy hangout. P Gin & T 70 dhm Mohito or other cocktails 80 dhm (about standard for alcohol... More

Miriam at Villa de l'O recommended this restaurant to us and our friends. We went there for a light dinner and drinks while visiting Essaouria at the end of March. Overall, good food and a cool atmosphere. But what I really want to review is their honesty - thank you for finding our camera and keeping it so that we... More

Thoroughly enjoyable evening - great food, great ambiance and the best meal we had in Morocco! Roast sea crab - mmmm! Having said that, the lemon merangue pie left a little to be desired, but overall the food was fantastic and if I return to Essaouira I will be booking in to After 5 like a shot!

It's a nice restaurant, very well decorated... The French owners are very friendly :) The food is good, and they have killer desserts, especially the "mi-cuit au chocolat" I go there eveytime I'm in Essaouira

I went to eat there 3 times while I was at Essaouira. The deco is really unique and the food has no equal. You have to wait a little bit since it gets a little crowded but it is worth the wait. You eat better than at any french restaurant in Miami!!!!

This is a good restaurant with a mostly international menu although there are some Moroccan items. There is a full bar with lounge so you can come here just for drinks too. Service is a bit inattentive but the food is generally well prepared. We especially liked the beef and just wished the proportions were bigger. The interior is handsome.... More
