Very pleasant small restaurant, enjoyed good food even though initially they tried to give us the food intended for the table next to us, but would go again if in the area.
That day I was craving for typical Mauritian/Chinese fried noodles. The setting is not particularly pretty. But the cutlery and glasses were clean (as opposed to the restaurant next door), there was a nice breeze blowing through the restaurant, so it wasn't too hot, and the fried noodles were SPOT ON what I expected/wanted! If I want to go eat... More
Coming from England we are used to a good standard of Chinese food from our local restaurants and take aways, so, whilst we were on an all inclusive package in our hotel, we went into Flic En Flac (based upon a recommendation) for a Chinese meal. This proved to be a mistake as it was our only negative experience in... More
It's a pity if all you do is stay in your hotel, so we were determined to try a local restaurant in Flic en Flac and were recommended Ah Youn. It's a basic, semi-outdoor room, with sometimes erratic service, but the food was excellent, especially the Creole/Mauritian dishes. I would have probably liked a bit more friendly guidance as to... The food is good at very reasonable prices for a touristy area. Service is with a smile and you never eat alone in this busy restaurant.
It has been two years since I last visited this restaurant although I stay in the neighbourhood. The last straw for me was when I had to wait for more than 20 minutes for service. If the restaurant was full I might have understood but this was not the case. The lady who was apparently the supervisor really behaved like... More
We were recommended this restaurant by our taxi driver I really wish we had gone elsewhere the staff obviously didn't want us there and made our meal very uncomfortable to say the least.
A special care, great fare, traditional restaurant . The lovely lady owner goes out of her way to help you decide on the meals to suite your feel. The traditional curries were amazing as we're the " sizzling prawns " a so reasonable too. Don't miss it
food is halal, fast service, large choice almost like KL, but with Mauritian flavors, beach front, friendly place for people of my age. Also very near Pallagino, where we stayed
Service a bit slow but noodles worth the wait. Very reasonably priced and plenty of locals eat here so must be good
