Great restaurant, worth a visit.

The restaurant in small and opened for lunch only. The staff were friendly, as mentioned in other reviews the restaurant only offers a small selection of dishes, however the dishes they do make are excellent.

In the centre of Chinatown, the shop space is quite small, only about 6 tables all-in. We had the nasi kerabu and curry laksa. Prices were reasonable and service was prompt.

We read many recommendation about this place and decided to try it ourself. I'm not so much of a nasi kerabu person, but gave it a try nevertheless, got to say, it tasted good. They have pretty good option for food, and taste wise it was pretty good. The place is rather small, so it can get crowded and stuffy.... More

Hi Thiru, we are delighted that you enjoyed our food! Yes our place can get crowded especially during lunch hour and some of the popular dishes sold out really fast! It's a good idea to drop by slightly earlier to avoid the crowd and disappointment of missing certain food from our menu. Thanks again and we hope to see you... More

We were keen to try Peranakan food from Kuala Terengganu which is supposed to be different from Singapore, Malacca or Penang. When we arrived at this small cafe, 3 or 4 tables were occupied and we were quickly ushered to our table. My husband decided on laksa while I chose loh mee, both supposedly their signature dishes. Overall the noodles... More

Hi Pebble82, our Peranakan Terengganu laksa is indeed very different from laksa in Penang and Melaka. Penang assam laksa focus more on spicy and sour taste with the use of assam and pineapple while Terengganu laksa contains more sambal in the fish paste to enhance the fish taste with fresh sliced cucmber and bean sprouts to add to its texture.... This place has brought back childhood memories since i've left many years ago! Rojak ceranang, bubur chacha, pengat pisang, green bean soup, steamed keropok lekor are some of the many authentic dishes we've ordered. Will certainly come back for more whenever I'm next back here :)

The restaurant is small and unique, friendly local staff to welcome all patrons. Served variety of local delicacies and desserts. I had Nasi Kerabu which the best so far. The restaurant in China Town which you will not miss.

This is place for authentic Terengganu Peranakan food. I noticed, however, that the restaurant has no kitchen and the foods are brought in from home/central kitchen, & probably for that reason, it's only open for lunch service.

Madam Bee's is a tiny hole-in-the-wall establishment with a very charming Chinese-influenced interior decoration. There are only a few dishes available. A good place to sample local delights such as Terengganu Laksa (not at all similar to curry or assam type of laksa found in Penang, Johor, Sarawak etc) and Loh Mee. The Nasi Lemak, served with nyonya-style chicken curry,... More
