Me and my girlfriend went here to break our fast. As expected it would be packed with people who want to break their fast and for dinner. However that shouldnt be the excuse to disregard its cleanliness. Im not saying this just happens during ramadhan buka puasa, I assume its dirty on ordinary days as well. The issue is there... More

There was a great variety of sushi, sashimi and cooked Japanese food available at Shogun. There were also stations to cook fresh teppanyaki and Korean bbq. The salmon sashimi was very good, but the other sashimi wasn't as fresh as it could have been. Value was good with groupon vouchers.

I good place to enjoy a sumptuous buffet for dinner at a reasonable price. The widespread of dishes - Japanese, Korean, Chinese - all mixed into one place, offers a variety of delicious food, ranging from steamed, fried, boiled choices, will certainly satisfy most taste buds of many. The drinks offered is interesting - green tea, juices and other non-alcoholic... More

It used to be good. I ate at Shogun at least 3 times a year for few years but since 2 years ago I only ate once in 2014. The food used to be good but last few visit to them, I do not find any more fresh oyster. The offer is not as good now and their price has... More

We had our buffet lunch in Shogun@Solaris Mont Kiara as soon as we reach KL as I've bought their promo package. This place is huge and try as we want to, we are not able to sample every dishes. The choices is massive and amazing and there is everything for everyone, even picky eaters. Sushi is ok, but too bad... More

We have visited the restaurant in 1-Utama previously and found it good. However, this time my children decided to try the one in Sunway Pyramid. Firstly the plates were wet, dirty & oily. The sashimi (salmon/tuna) was NOT FRESH at all. Only white tuna was served instead of the usual 'red' fish. The takoyaki tasted like flour balls. Tempura was... More

As others said, stay away and it is bit expensive. My friends and I had Shogun few years ago (maybe 2007), but from the reviews it seems the restaurant did not improve ever since. One of the worst experience we had was the awful taste of cheesy oyster.. just look at the other reviewers, even today the cheezy oyster is... More

Possibly the wurst Japanese restaurant I ever been into. Tasteless sushi, dried out chicken which had to pass for yakitory. In the end I paid RM50,- for ice cream cause was the only thing nice. AVOID THIS PLACE I'd say.

It's unbelievable how Shogun could increase it's price and at the same time, reduce it's quality. I was there at 2pm, way before the buffet closes and most of the food trays were empty. I would expect that they would replenish them but NO. The food tasted bland and you can sense that the quality has deteriorated badly. Even the... More
