Overrated place for nasi lemak

Won't be my preferred place for a nasi lemak meal. There are other places where there is better quality food served and with better ambience. Here you may need to sit out on the corridor. Only thing I find nice is the fried chicken and when it's served hot which is hardly.

Village Park is awesome! We actually tried the restaurant because of the long line, in Malaysia, a long line, it's always a good sign! And it didn't disappoint us, the chicken is very well fried, the coconut rise, the sambal, everything is amazing. The environment is packed and with a lot of movement, but comfortable enough. We love that place.

I thought they sell purely nasi lemak as most of the people ordered nasi lemak. After trying, it is not as special as what others said. Overall, the nasi lemak i tasted was good. Just not to the expectation that everyone said how special it is.

Everytime I think of Nasi Lemak, I would think of this restaurant and start to crave for their Nasi Lemak. But lately, I start to feel that their standard has drop a little (Especially their rice)...Their service has slowed down too...Maybe it is just me, but even my father thinks that too. I still go there for Nasi Lemak, just... More

Village Park is a Chinese Muslim restaurant. The menu is very Malaysian. This is where one could find real authentic 'nasi lemak'(rice cooked in coconut milk). The restaurant is very popular and very crowded in the morning. The breakfast crowd. No fancy chairs, only simple tables & stools. The service is fast but could be quite rough at times. Even... Have been here many times over the past years, I have to say they are one of the more decent places to have nasi lemak. I wouldn't call their nasi lemak great, I'm quite sure you can find better elsewhere. The friend chicken here is good but for everything else, there are better places around KL/PJ. Come on weekdays for... More

Nasi Lemak is one of the dishes and no surprise that a big number love it. The other dishes include noodles of various types. One that stands out is the Mee Java. Big portion with the usual ingredients and sliced boiled egg. The drinks are popular and their "kopi-tarik" attracts interest.

I have tried many places with high ratings but still love Village Park's nasi lemak the most! Its fried chicken is crispy and tender, and rice is fragrant and good.

Good tasty nasi lemak with well cooked accompanying Malay curry & sambal dishes cooked & maintained to a good standard. The food was not so spicy but good taste. One negative comment is the ambience could be very much more improved and more tasteful. It gives you a feel that you are eating in a cafeteria with no good dinning... More
