I have tried the "nasi lemak ayam goreng" (nasi lemak with fried chicken) in village park. I think the nasi lemak was really good as the rice was hot and has a nice fragrance, and it served a generous portion of chicken, too. However, at times the chicken had blood in it, as it was not well cooked. The sambal was... More

Heard that the Nasi Lemak offered here was nice, but its just average. Nothing special. Parking nearby is a challenge, where getting a space infront of the shop row was never easy.

Recently almost every week myself and my group of Bukit Kiara walkers will visit this place for the coffee and the kuih muih. I especially like the kuih using mashed sweet potatoes instead of flour. So far I did not try the nasi lemak nor the fried noodles/meehoon but my friends who tried it said it is worth to try... More

There is only one name synonymous with good nasi lemak in KL - Village Park. The walls are plastered with photos of celebrities and politicians and after one bite, it's easy to see why: the crispy, fried chicken (Ayam goreng rempah) is to die for, Village Park cooks dozens of fried chicken thighs so that each plate served is accompanied... I've been coming to this place for years. The nasi lemak is the best in town, especially the fried chicken drumstick. Tasty and well cooked. The only issue I have is that it's slightly overpriced. Nevertheless, I still enjoy this place.

I generally am not a fan of nasi but this changed my mind. First and foremost, don't expect great service, this is a really busy place, more a kopitiam style then a restaurant. Weekends are best avoided too. The coconut rice, spiced-fried chicken and sambal are great on their own and I prefer not to mix them together.

Well worth a visit when visiting Malaysia. V good local food but don't expect 5 star service. Service is good considering how very busy this place is.

Being a local, this is one of the places you've to bring your out-of-town guests to. But for me personally, I think this place is not only overcrowded at all times, the pricing can be fairly overrated. Service is fast, but the waiters tend to squeeze you in with dining patrons enjoying their meals, so this may get you some... More

For the fuss of the food its not to bad. My first impression o.m.g the service sucks big time. Foreign workers who have no regards for customers preference even in the simplest matter of seating can really be a downfall no matter how good the food is.

The famous nasi lemak ayam goreng claimed by at most is just average. The ayam goreng with crispy batter bits of ginger and onions wasn't even flavourful. The price of RM9 per dish was a bit on the steep side. Had their nasi dagang ikan as well which wasn't bad but could have given more kuah to go with the... More
