Village Park's signature is its nasi lemak, a Malaysian street special. The version here is richer, has more condiments and is generally an upsized version of the little packets you generally find at stalls and cafes all around the country. The rice is perfectly cooked, the must-have sambal is rich and the whole package is worth waiting for -- which... More

I won't eat here everyday, but if I want to have a meal of good nasi lemak which doesn't change in quality, quantity & taste, I'd go VP. During peak times it can be quite a challenge to get a seat, but the wait once in a while is worth it.

If we spoken of fried chicken, i prefer Sakura one. The chicken is juicy and golden crispy in Sakura. SS2 Murni pandan friend chicken is quite unique too. However, i discover that the Village park restaurant will be in a messy whenever during high peak of client visits. The floor is wet in certain area. The rubbish bin can be... More

This place is all the time packed with people. Cars are parked at the middle of the road that very often they are towed away by the MPPJ. Yet people still come to eat at this place. Nasi lemak biasa is priced at RM 3 but tambah fried chicken will cost another RM 6. This is very expensive for a... More

Loved this place. You need to come early around 7-8 am. It is now my once in a while place since the price increased. Same portion, size and the price of the meal went up.

Food is very good but due to the overwhelming crowd, service can be slow at times, depending on your luck. Servers have the tendency to forget orders or requests. Peak hours can be extremely crowded which makes dining experience unpleasant because seats are maximised whenever possible.

The place may not be much, the wait to get seated is awful....but once you are seated & ordered your food, you can't help but look at those people around you gobbling down their nasi Lemak - satisfaction guaranteed

The Village Park Restaurant is something of a phenomenon, on weekends getting a seat is a challenge because of the hordes of people queueing for food, to pay, to get a seat. There's no secret: the food is simply fabulous and consistent in quality. Village Park serves a variety of Malay food. Their top seller is probably the nasi lemak... More

The rice is flavorful and the sambal is awesome. very very pricey and during peak hours, huge long queue is crazy. services wise, very arrogant as i wouldn't say the service is bad. Ohh, there's signs on all the walls of the restaurant that says NO laptop.
