Surprisingly good restaurant

Getting to know this restaurant from friend. Book first to secure a place. It is more of a thai fusion restaurant. Really nice food mostly. Try the tom yam soup with a spice value of 1.5 (range from 0.5 to 3, I think) It is just too spicy for all of us. I suggest to try the 1.0 rate. Otherwise,... read more

I can't understand why some have given this place a thumbs down. It has the closet Thai food than anywhere else I've been to (apart from Thailand of course). The chef is Thai (brother to the owner) and ingredients are mostly sourced from Thai too. The pomelo salad is unbeatable (really addictive after first try). Milk tea is good too.... More

Recently five of us were at Erawan Thai for dinner for a birthday celebration. The restaurant was rarher busy and we felt that we were hurried into making our selections. We had lotus leave pedal dish, vegetarian green curry, basil chicken, seafood tom yam, fried chicken, and banana fritters and mango pudding. The food was very good but the dishes... More

Had dinner for 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) at Erawan and was treated with excellent Thai cuisine. Menu had a good selection and you can tell they put a lot of effort on quality of ingredients. The clear seafood tomyum was lovely with loads of fresh seafood and mushrooms. We tried level 1 (of 3) and that was spicy enough... More

I like the atmosphere..the presentation and the excellence service. I love their mangosteen salad and salted egg glass noodles. Their clear soup tomyam really tough spicy..u better ask for lower level if u not the spicy challenger. I love spicy but we ordered 1.5level also very very spicy. Oh, I love their cute lotus pedal dish, and durian ice cream... More

Called to the restaurant on the evening and very fortunate they have table for 2 for that night. The restaurant is located at Dataran Sunway- 15 minutes drive from 1 Utama. The restaurant sits on ground floor at one of the intermediate shop house and It has around 40 seats with very cosy ambience. The entrance has a very classic... More

Probably the best Thai restaurant in town. Rather expensive but worth it. Ingredients used matches the price. Down side is rather difficult to get a reservation due to limited capacity. Extensive menu with many specialties. Great taste. Anand needs to improve to be more acceptable. Otherwise other things from service to ambience is good. This is Thai fine dining food... More

I have visiting this restaurant out of counts, so far never disappointed me and my friends who I bring in. One of the boss, anand (aka Robert), will always suggest seasonal dishes which ingredient hard to found always, and I always surprise with it. Maybe due to their status of restaurant, the staffs might be over confident and reckless which... More

Tucked away in an unassuming shop-lot in the middle of a mildly unfashionable neighbourhood, Erawan is one hard place to find if you're not familiar with the area. It took the GPS and two rounds of circling the block before I finally located the place. Once there you're greeted by a locked door. Locked! The place is reservations-only and does... More
