The Frontera revolution and ongoing evolution began in June 2008 when a small group of fellow Mexican food aficionados opened Frontera Sol of Mexico (formerly known as Frontera Bar & Grill) at the Palm Square, Jaya One in Petaling Jaya. Our mission is to create a warm, friendly and unique environment and to provide our guests with the absolute best Mexican food and fresh lime margaritas in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Our menu is the culmination of years of dedication and passion. It is our combination of unique flavors and proven cooking methods that are combined to create cuisine with the spirit and flavor of old Mexico. We use only the freshest and best ingredients in all of our dishes. The same passion for quality is echoed throughout every element of our restaurant.Frontera's Agave Margaritas, icy cold Mexican beer and tequila-influenced cocktails are the perfect companions to our culinary selections. Reasonable prices. Great tasting Mexican with good portion. Service is reasonable. Can be rowdy with a strong dining crowd in nearby restaurants.

Frontera offers the full range of Mexican food, for it be Taco, Burrito, Chimichanga, Enchilada, Quesadillas, Nacho, Chips and Salsa. Food is very authentic, love the Enchilada, when it is so difficult to get in Malaysia. For those that are not having the Mexican food, you are not tasting the best of Frontera. Forget about those burgers and steaks menu... More

Came here for a birthday celebration. Ordered a platter and a lamb burrito for sharing for 2. The crab cake in the platter was awesome! Do try their Mexican rice! It tastes superb! Would definitely come back again!

We had dinner here for my daughters birthday . First if all the waiter could not really understand us and explain the items on the menu . The mixed platter was nice but our main dishes were nothing great . I had a vegetarian burrito and the refried beans that came with it tasted stale , my daughters glass had... More

The Frontera Sol Mexico is surely one of a kind and will be a good place to chill out with a few friends to savour their range of margaritas, cocktails, Mexican beers and 100% Agave tequilas. Bottles of alcohol line a part of the wall while smooth wooden fittings along with warm lights illuminate the bar lounge. Settle yourselves down... More

The Fiesta Platter gave a good sampling to go with the Margaritas, though the drinks were a bit small. The fish tacos were among the best I've had anywhere. Definitely worth another trip back.

Don't have the jalapeno poppers. We ordered them and the cream cheese filling was still frozen when we got them. We had the chicken tacos, fish tacos and vegetarian tacos. The fish tacos were the only ones that were great. The other ones were all pretty average. I would go back again only because there is not much choice for... More

Dear Sonalivrao, Firstly, thank for your review & feedback. We are thrilled that you enjoyed our fish tacos very much. Secondly, we are sorry that the jalapeño poppers were frozen on the inside. Despite the fact that the jalapeño poppers are homemade, we make them in large quantity & freeze. It was our oversight that we didn't thaw them properly.... More
