Cheap and tasty

Cheap, basic, tasty and quick family run business. Good if you're looking for good food at a good price (approx 3MR for fried noodle dish).

The food at Borneo Delight was delicious and ridiculously cheap. We absolutely loved it and can't recommend it highly enough. It's a simple looking place but don't be put off by that...an absolute gem.

It would be easy to see why people walk past this place. Its a very simple place however the food was cheap and great. We ate the Sarawak Laksa and a flat rice noodle dish. Both were great. It wasn't busy however there was a Malaysian family, a couple of Malaysian guys eating burgers (Yes they sell burgers), an american... More

I had breakfast here a few times whilst staying at the borneo seahare guesthouse just next door.. The food is very nice, simple and affordable.. I'd recommend you try the curry noodles here they are very good and great value for money.

This is not a posh restaurant - but a small family run place beside a great laundry ( 24 hr-used it twice ) . They serve great curries and Sarawak Laksa is particularly good . They should charge more for the food - only 12 MYR for a meal for 2 .. Lovely people - you won't be sorry if... More

This tiny family run restaurant serves very jummy food and it is really cheap. There's enough on the menu to chose from. Try the claypot noodles, they are delicious. I also had carrot juice, which was freshly made. The family that serves and prepare all these jummy things are very sweet as well. We will definitely go back there! A... More

17th January 2015 As with most restaurant’s in Kuching it is cafe style and a basic environment. Food is very good and very cheap as is the beer. Service was quick and we enjoyed the local food. Small main course portion was only 5RM. Locals also use the place and are happy to talk to tourists which can be quite... More

Located between a Chinese temple and a coin operated laundry.. Food is okay and reasonably priced. Ordered 1 plain rice, 2 chicken dishes, 1 fried rice and finished the meal with some ice creams. Costs less than MYR 25. Centrally located. Walking distance from Kuching Waterfront. Not the best food available but okay...
