The food at Borneo delight is superb, and only improved when you discover just how little it costs. I ate here multiple times during my stay in Kuching- my only regret is that I did not discover it sooner. The restaurant itself is clean but certainly not luxury or flashy- it is ideal for those that desire tasty local food... More

We bypassed this place on our first night in town because it looked a little unappealing on the eye. But, due to inclement weather, we went here for a quick bite to eat, and we found that the food was really, really good and really, really cheap too. Best value in town.

Don't judge a book by it's cover and in this case don't judge the restaurant by it's somewhat uninviting interior, ready-to-fall-apart-menu and the ridiculously cheap prices. The best thing about this family run restaurant is the fact that everything is fresh and they are fully stocked. In most other places in Borneo they don't have this ingredient, they don't have... Dropping by here for dinner after reading some great review and it was amazing. Had 3 meals (2 fried noodles & 1 fried rice) plus 2 ice lemon tea for drinks that in total only cost us RM15. What a humble & tasty dinner I had!Definitely will come back again!

I am sorry to say our experience was not really a great one. We we're told that they only had enough rice for 1 person so we had to share plus when the food came out It was slightly tasteless. We ate at a street food bar right opposite the next night that was better. Sorry.

When I was in Kuching last Nov+Dec, I frequently passed by Borneo Delight: the menu prices were soooo low, and the interior seemed so...meager, that I just walked on by. This time round, I was sadly disappointed to see the security gate pulled closed. Tight. I checked back several times.... Finally! they were opened! I asked if they woukd now... More

Laksa was lovely, beautifully presented and a million times better than what if tried in Singapore China town however when I went back I tried their yellow special noodles which were average tasting and super oily. Meals cost around 5 ringgit each.

I enjoyed this place and the price was very good for the quality given. Had the laksa which was certainly the most tasty version I tried in two weeks in Borneo - have to say I wasn't enamoured with the Malay food which did surprise me. But this should not reflect on this establishment!

This is a great place to sample local cuisine at local prices! There is a decent menu with a good variety of rice and noddle dishes, all around 3 RM. The yellow fried noddles with chicken and oyster sauce was delicious, and the chicken black pepper was the best I had in Malaysia. Portion sizes are decent and there's a... More
