We booked a table via our hotel for 8pm and as we were running late from a boat trip so we were dropped off on the way back. We were expecting a beautiful building as you see on all the photos but when you arrive by car you don't see any of that you just go into what looks like... More

We were staying at the hotel across the road from here so wandered across. It was very quiet inside and nicely decorated. Staff were very helpful explaining they had three chefs, Thai, Malay and Chinese and we had three big menus and could mix from them all which was perfect for us. All the dishes were excellent (we shared 3... More

We went her through our Kuoni tour. Food was pre-selected and we had a wide range of different meals. The place is very big although we went on a Monday night, and i think it was very quiet as we were in a back room. Staff give a lot of attention to you however the family on the table behind... More

I have never failed to visit Absolute tribal everytime an opportunity arises. The food is fantastic- the Midin Kerabu, and umai in particular. It's actually quite amazing how a restaurant with such an extensive menu manages to execute its dishes so well. The craft wall hangings, and paintings create an authentic dining experience. I look forward to continue exploring the... More

This restaurant is an old mansion turned restaurant, boutique hotel and souvenir shop. With Gerald Goh at the helm, the food and service of ATR is exemplary in the catering business. Blending local Sarawak cuisine with a hint of Chinese and Thai influences, each item on the menu is tantalizing and a sheer delight. Gerald & his staff simply turns... More

This is a fusion restaurant. They have two kitchen; the Chinese and the Thai. Chinese cuisine has practically long become part of the local cuisine, but to 'localise' Thai cuisine, I think there must be effort and creativity. Our family enjoy dining in this place. We bring visitors to this restaurant too. Food portion is more than sufficient, hence value... More

We had dinner here and the food is fine, nothing too amazing. However when writing our review we were totally amazed when scrolling through previous reviews, that every single negative review is afterwards commented on by the owner in such an arrogant way... Every time the owner's comment shows he takes it personally, he must always have the last word... More

Dear Worldtraveller, Thank you for your feedbacks on what I write as response to those unreasonable reviews. My stand is, if I cant clarify on those false "accusation" then, there is no point for TRIPADVISOR to offer this platform as a respect to the business owners here. We are serious business operators here, I strongly feel that we deserve the... More
