We had a late lunch at about 2.15 pm and this was one of the very few eateries along the road that were still open. We waited 45 minutes for our meal and the food was good but not fantastic...

I came here with my mom & this place is always packed. I waited more than 30 minutes to order & another 30 for my noodles to arrive. I had to squeeze with other people too. The noodles were average at best & probably didn't taste good because it was rushed to cater to the large crowd. The only thing... More

The long queue is testament to thier good food and drinks. This shop has one of the best Teh C peng in town, and the mix pork soup and kolo mee is to die for. highly recommended but one must be patient for the wait.

be warned of its lengthy waiting time but it is worth trying. so, have something light first before coming here. it is the noodle version of Penang's yam rice as the noodles were served with a pork intestines soup. the soup has some pickled mustard and all pork innards that you can think of. you can customise the ingredients for... This place provided a different dining experience; there's always lots of people and need to queue to get a spot, then sit and wait for them to take your order. Do not attempt to go to the noodle man to order. The noodle portion was generous, soup can be customised to your liking (if you do not like kidney, etc).... More

Food is just lousy - tasteless mass produced combination soup! Noodles - just the same as the soup. Waited 40 mins for a cup of tea and 50 mins for noodles from time of order. What a waste of time & facing unfriendly faces of the service providers! Not again

Had the famous kolo mee with the mix pork soup. Really love the kolo mee a lot that I think I can even eat plain mee and I'd still be happy with my meal. The pork soup was quite ordinary and pales in comparison to the mee. The mee had fried scallions in it and I don't know what else... More

I grew up in the Carpenter Street area where I would eat the kolo mee every week from this stall when it was located at the corner of Bishopgate Street and Ewe Hai Street. Every visit to Kuching is now incomplete without eating there. This stall uses fresh (instead of frozen) pork meat, intestines, liver and kidney plus 'char siew'.... More

Nice atmos, bustling place along Jalan padungan. Waited around 20mins for food (slow by kuching standards) and had to share table with others. Noodles (mee) and pork were tasty and portion generous. Price prob a little higher than surrounding places but worth visiting.
