Ideal place for breakfast...

Been here a couple of times for breakfast. would normally order Kueh Chap and Dim Sum. Dim Sum is quite okay. The Kueh Chap is really a must try dish. The Kueh Chap looks clean and delicious too. The location given by Google Map wasn't very accurate and we have to take a second trial to locate this coffee shop. We walked around the 'Commercial Centre' (it's actually rows of shophouses) and finally we found this shop (it is a corner shop, occupying the space of 2 shops). The lady who served us our teh C peng and... More

I am not sure whats the hype was about pertaining to this coffee shop. The praises that was showered by my colleagues was a sad reflection for me. The various food served at this place was just average to the point that I commented to my friends that I had tasted better "laksa" and "kolo mee" in Kuching. So if... More

Yeow Kee is a breakfast hotspot for the locals. There were several cuisines served mainly Chinese cuisines such as lakes, mee sua, kampua, dim sum, Kuih, penang special food, wantan, kaya toast and many other more. The drinks were cheap too. It would be crowded during the "peak hours" but it's worth a try and a great place to enjoy... More

This is a popular traditional coffee shop (kopitiam in hokkien) in Kuching. It iss always filled with customer since early morning when open. Very crowded and seats are hard to come by. Usually have to wait beside someone to finish on a table to "book" a seat if you know what I mean. Unless you're lucky when groups of people... More

A buddy brought me here after our morning jog at Stutong Park and boy the Laksa was the best i tasted on my short trip to Kuching even better than the more famed kopitiam in town the name of which escapes me. The kolo mee is good too. And it is always packed so do go early.

This kopitiam has been around a few years and the crowd keeps on coming and growing. The varieties of food sold here are numerous. The best toasted bread with butter and kaya in town is found here.Reminds one of old times when breakfast was a simple cup of coffee and toasted bread done over charcoal fire!Love it tremendously.Owned and operated by two... We stumbled into this place not expecting much, but the food was really tasty (I had noodles) and prices were good. All very basic so don't expect to much but all in all a good dining experience.

Yeow Kee is one of the places that just ever stops buzzling with people. Food is aplenty and has great variety. Made up of many different hawker stalls, it is a great representation of the various food you can find in Kuching and Sarawak. My personal favourite is the foochow noodle "Chao Cai Mee" which is a clear based noodle... More

Get there early. It's ALWAYS busy, The wontons are especially nice, with a hint of cooking wine in them. They're good for their kuehs, toast with kaya (coconut jam) and a lot of other choices of local food. With the current construction work going on, traffic is a pain in the neck, but if you happen to be around there,... More
