I used to love this place. I gave good review and introduced to my friends and family but not after today. Total disappointment. The owner is becoming dishonest. I used to order a Curry Fish Tumis which cost me RM37, what I got was one whole fish. However, what I actually got today is just half of the fish and... More

food was nice, service was quick, price was reasonable, location was great with ample parking. Only draw back was the jam due to the queue of cars going into the ferry

Good place for authentic Penang nyonya food with a view of the ferry terminal. We ordered 6 dishes and each and every one did not disappoint. Will definately come again. A little pricy but is expected for a 'touristy' place.

Lets face it, Georgetown Penang is congested with filth on the streets and the odd open sewer,so I have been looking forward to leaving before I get killed by a motorcycle going the wrong way down a 3 lane ring road! Then by chance I came across this oasis alongside the ferry terminal. It specialises in Nyonya food, basically a blending... More

An upmarket Chinese restaurant. The food was excellent. I had Tau Yu Chicken in black pepper and the meat was so tender, it was delicious. My friend ordered Stingray which was also very nice. The customer service was fantastic compared to local standards. The staff were lovely and friendly. We did not have to wait a long time for our... More

Place is easily located, right next to jetty. Parking costs RM3 per entry, with ample parking. Restaurant was empty when we arrived at night, which was surprising. Wash rooms were filthy, with bad smell, poorly maintained. Food was on average, while the prices were high for the quality of food. On average, I wouldn't recommend eating at this place nor... More

The restaurant provides Chinese and Malaysia fusion food. It was great food I would not have known what to order had I not gone with locals. They order dishes that I would not guessed just from the photos in the menu. I had dishes that I could not pronounced. But they were all good Good to try

Originally, we wanted to have dinner at the Esplanade but due to roads being closed and traffic diversions, we ended up here and parked in the carpark (RM3). There were just a few diners and we were a bit hesitant. Nice setting and views though. After looking at the menu, we decided to let our friends from Indonesia try the... More

The Hai Nan Town restaurant is in a somewhat enviable location, adjacent to the QE II pier on Weld Quay. It has a fairly large seating area outside with views over the Quay and numerous tables both under a covered patio and inside the restaurant which is air conditioned. I have to say I was somewhat surprised with the menu... More

Located in a new (slightly impersonal) development on the quayside near the ferry this restaurant has inside and outside seating. The proximity to the water takes the edge off the heat and they have fans too. Not a huge menu but we ordered half a dozen different dishes betwen 4 of us and all were good, some very good. (eg...
