A good venue for the excellent service and scrumptious Chinese cuisines. The atmosphere is great and suitable for family gathering. My family had ordered : Spring rolls and prawn rolls, stir-fried lotus root mixed with celery and ginko, signature beancurd stir-fried with gourds and chunks of crab meats; fried yam basket with signature BBQ pork ribs Steamed cod fish. Coming from KL where we have numerous excellent Cantonese cuisine I must say that our family were very happy with our dinner tonight . Great value for money. Called ahead for reservation and prebooked their signature Penang Style Peking Duck . Yummilicious! Service was quick and good friendly staff. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had dinner here recently. He had read several good reviews and we were curious about what this place had to offer. The menu is in English and Chinese and the wait staff were friendly. We ordered the duck and yam soup, promfret cooked in 2 ways, and one portion each of spring roll and prawn roll.... More

This place gets crowded at around 7pm, so you'll need to get in early. In fact, we rocked up at 6ish, when things were still fairly quiet, and were told that reservations are recommended. When the food arrives, you'll know why it's so popular. Foong Wei Heong serves excellent Chinese food. We ordered their signature crispy honey pork (which was... More

Walked past and noticed this bustling, lively establishment and decided to give it a go. We were served tea as a refreshment. Our meal came with boiled rice. We had Peking Duck (the skin removed and served on prawn crackers, and the meat served with pancakes). The duck was served with omelette pancakes and a delicious dark, sweet, chilli orange... More

This was a grim experience. Watery, tasteless kangkung and expensive, unappetising fish with ginger which arrived within minutes, if not seconds, after my order. A request for rice was forgotten. I persuaded myself that perhaps this was an 'off'' night and that there were at least some gracious touches - the plate of peanuts on the table upon arrival along with... More

Very tasty Chinese food. The portions are big - we ordered 3 meats, a medium rice and two spring rolls for two people and struggled to finish it! The Chinese tea is amazing and is constantly refilled. However, after paying and checking our receipt we noticed two extra charges. 2MYR for peanuts, that were put out on our table when... More

This Chinese restaurant located in down town Georgetown, right next to Cititel Hotel was a great discovery. Food was really great. Very fresh ingredients and well prepared also. I really recommend it. Their fried rice and their honey chicken were really outstanding. Staff was kind also. The only fault were the tables that were all round and very big, not... More
