The hotel (Seven Terraces) that the restaurant is located in is absolutely stunning and the dining room was tastefully decorated with beautiful crockery. The service was good and we were given some recommendations for their 4 course menu. The menu was supposedly nonya but there were a lot of options that reminded me of Vietnamese food. We got the spring... More

We discovered Kebaya two months after they opened in November 2012 and have been recommending to friends visiting Penang ever since, so we are pleased that the restaurant has gone from strength to strength and built up such a good reputation amongst it's competitors. For our second visit, in January 2015, we actually felt the overall dining experience was even... More

This was our second visit as we loved our first a couple of years ago, this time we were even more impressed. This restaurant has it just right, it has created an elegant colonial style without being 'stuffy' or ''pretentious', the staff are very welcoming and offer excellent service. In particular Kerwin who looked after us very well. The pianist... More

We had an excellent meal at Kabaya. We had, for starters, fish pie and pork buns followed by the beef and duck and the choc fondant and panna cotta and sides of tempura veg and wing bean salad. All the dishes were very tasty, used good quality ingredients and were well presented. The beef was melt in the mouth and... More

Four of us had dinner here in early January. The building has been beautifully renovated. The service was efficient but we were a little 'rushed' and the waiter was a bit curt when explaining some dishes. The food was fantastic. We all shared four starters and then each chose a different meal and no one was disappointed with their choice.... More

A very beautiful restaurant with a lovely dining room. Very good low key service. Very good food. A treat to have the fine dining experience in Penang. Many of the very good restaurants here are not places to take lots of time to leisurely eat lunch or dinner, they are more functional. Here you can relax and take your time.

Easily one of the best fusion food in Penang despite the price. Although we can only order the set meals but the quality of food, posh environment and impeccable services more than justify.

For Georgetown, we think this is a must visit restaurant for quality, service, food, and atmosphere. Kebaya is one of only two restaurants we visited twice during our stay. They offer a four course dinner option for RM 110 (about $33 U.S.) and we had a bottle of Shiraz one dinner and a Shiraz/Cab the second dinner --- RM 120... More

An excellent course dinner at Seven Terraces' renowned restaurant. Immaculate service and great dining experience more than justify the relatively high price tag associated with the dinner. Great painist complemented the dinner as well.

We ate here with dear friends at the end of December, the decor was charming, the tables well spaced, service great and food exceptional. We ate at some wonderful restaurants while in Penang but this clearly was the best.
