Good variety and taste. Wouldn't call the chicken rice best in anywhere but it's ok. Pasembur is good. The fried noodles are good as well. Always a fan of the fresh sugar cane. simple, cheep and cheerful. Not for family with infants though.

As Penang food are abundant throughout the island and to find them isn't much of a problem, I would rather choose to highlight what's good in the Batu Lanchang market. The benefit of this place is that the service is pretty fast and so you won't be left dire in hunger for long. Some recommendations that you ought to try... More

Most of you surely never tried or heard of the fried rice here but i can guarantee you its really yummy!! My favourite will be the tomyam fried rice but there are also belacan fried rice, pineapple fried rice, tomato fried rice, salted fish fried rice. The nasi lemak is also a must try but its very limited....cheers everyone!!

Lots of varieties of hawker food i.e. hokkien mee, char okay trow, char koay oak (seafood even), indian mee goreng, chnegh hoo (salad) etc. Opens by 12pm till late afternoon. Not known to tourist and prices are reasonable. Parking is easy as there is a large parking area for this market place. Besides eating at the hawker centre, one could... More

The thing I like about this place are 2 things..The Mee Goreng (Yellow noodles stir fry indian style) and the Poh Pia (fresh chinese spring rolls). These 2 stalls are located side by side and the quality and the price is quite resonable.
