Ever since I discovered this restaurant some years ago, I must visit this place whenever I'm in Penang. This trip I was traveling with friends and we ended up here for dinner one night. My friends loved the food too. It is a very popular restaurant, so be prepared to wait for a table or come early. Many local families... More

The food at this place was really good and really cheap. There were four of us so we had four dishes and a couple of sides. We tasted a bit of everything, fish, pork and chicken. No twice fried pork, all sold out. Fast food, friendly staff with smiles, even though they were so busy. We ate late so no... More

This place was fantastically close to our hotel and was recommended by our staff upon checking in. It's open air and sit down, like most of the restaurants in the area. I simply looked around once we sat down and noticed most people were munching on the twice fried pork, so naturally i ordered it. FANTASTIC I've never had anything... More

just a tick higher than a street vendor Tek Sen offers amazing tastes in a very simple, street stall like atmosphere. Everything we had was extremely tasty.

Get a table here may take 20 minutes. The staff is gentle and even if in a hurry they found the time to suggest the best choises of the day. The food was actually not that good as we expected. We ate a curry fish soup and a kind of pork. The atmosfere is nice.

I went to there thrice already so far. Their food really impressed us no matter how many times I go. The only problem is the price is rising. It was overpriced for every dishes when I had my dinner with family last time... We're surprised. The portions were small and they're not worth for the price. I'm kinda disappointed after... More

Delicious and interesting Chinese food. You have to order the double roasted pork. The nutmeg squash drink is also great. Long line but relatively short wait for a table for two. Service was fine, reasonably prompt considering how busy they were and friendly enough.

We had heard so much about this place, that we were very eager to go. We had a great table outside for four people at lunch. Service was quick and good, as they guided us through the specials of the day. We had a few specialties (double cooked pork, duck with yam, fried rice, etc.) and the food was good,... More

Though, the restaurant is so busy but all dish we've ordered was really good, especially fried roasted pork, we double its orders. I will have some great food again when I travel to Penang.

A bit hard to find, but finally did. Busy restaurant with nice food. Service from neutral to nice. Slightly over-priced when compared to similar places (must be all the fame), but still a budged restaurant. Would go again if in town.
