The surrounding streets are dark and abandoned, it's not lively. After walking for 30 minutes, because Trip Advisor has the wrong address on the site, we were sent away. We were so disappointed. The waitress turned the "open" sign to "closed" right in front of our noses, though the restaurant was still full of customers and we were only with... More

Went here on two occasions. They have an expansive menu and also have choice of portion size. Staff will help with your choice if needed. The decor is basic but the food is well worth trying. We had several dishes and the double roasted pork was quite tasty . All up we had four dishes, rice and four drinks at... More

Don't fall for how this place looks on first impression. Hectic atmosphere, full of friendly noise, families, young and old, locals, and visitors. A fun place to be and the food is first rate. A short queue leads to the most delicious flavours. Great menu which is full of complimentary dishes, and the price is fair and good value. Thoroughly... More

We were hoping for a delicious meal going by the queue of people waiting outside for a table. The portion size was quite small. The food was ordinary home cooked style. I wouldn't say it is value for money in Penang.

Food is simply awesome! Good location near famous Armenian Street arts. TripAdvisor however wrongly pointed to a location at Geodesic Dome (near Komtar). The correct location is at intersection of Lebuh Carnavon & Jalan Buckingham. Despite some reviews commented about long waiting time & unfriendly service, we didn't experience such during our visit.

The people at Campbell House recommended this restauant and we were not disappointed. We were lucky enough to get a seat as soon as we arrived with a great view of the dining area, but outside so we could get a breeze. We had the double roasted pork - fabulous! We also had shrimp, which I did not really care... More

We stopped at this restaurant based on the recommendation of our hotel and were not disappointed. Thankfully others had included descriptions and reviews of their food so we knew what to order. We had a tofu appetizers that was not as firm as what we typically get in the US but was very good. We also had a plate of... More

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant 2 times and both times we were very happy with the meals we chose. This has very basic decor but it is about the food not the ambiance. Both times we went the restaurant was full and on the second occasion we had to wait to be seated. There was a... More

Very good Chinese food, as others have said the pork is delicious, we also had the claypot fish which was also excellent. Great service, simple, the place is buzzing. Closes at 9pm. About RM50 for two excluding drinks. NB the location of the restaurant is wrong on some map services. It is on Carnavon Street close to the corner of... More
