Chinese delicacy, szechuan style available

Topping my list would be their xiao long bao. Could never had enough of it My family loves and enjoyed their fried chicken too (not sure what its called, its a deep fried spicy chicken cut in small pieces like chicken-popcorn) Their tea and services were also worth mentioning.

A nice ambiance Chinese restaurant, famous for its juicy fillings xiao long pau. Not only that, their hand made La Mian is awesomely good too. They have branches in Queensbay & Gurney, both of the outlets will always have crowd lining up during lunch & dinner hours. Do go early to get the freshest xiao long pau!

Xiao Long Pao, and the fresh hand made mee is a must ~~ Although they have a few branches around penang island, 1 in Queensbay and another in Gurney Plaza, but they both will always get crowd lining up as usual during lunch hours. So if you wanna try the xiao long bao, go at 11 am.

This restaurant, in Gurney Plaza, 2nd floor, used to be on the ground floor, at the back, with the kitchen out of sight. Now the kitchen is part of the experience, glass to watch the chefs, and the northern chinese cuisine, leaning heavily on Sechuan, is as good as any you'll get in Hong Kong. Very stylish decor, tables pleasantly... More

A chinese restaurant with a nice ambiance. I especially like their "parn" noodles served in a Szechuan style savoury and spicy broth, and also the egg yolk buns filled with a liquefied mixture of salted and regular egg yolks. It's amusing to see the buns "explode" when people who have not tried it before bite into them. You need to... More

Just stick with the Xiao Long Bao which is their signature dish! The other dishes were just OK. We had the green beans with minced beef, which was good. The pork chop with fried rice was a disappointment. The pork was very dry and overlooked. The green onion pancake was deep- fried, not pan fried as they traditionally are and... More

We came to the Gurney Plaza and decided to have chinese food for lunch. We tried the szechuan prawns, string beans with minced beef, some vegetables with mushroom. The stir fried beans is especially very good. My dad said it's the best he had aver tasted. The vegetable with mushroom is very mild and delicious too. We had the flower... More

Situated in Gurney Plaza & a good place to partake of a typical Chinese meal for lunch whilst in the Plaza shopping. Apparently recently opened & a clean eatery with good service for a meal of reasonably priced food.
