Good local food

We had fried noodles and some dim sum dishes. It tasted great and it was great to see mostly local people eating there. Would definitely go back for another meal

Is a traditional restaurant. The fried noodle is delicious and authentic. I personally recommend that you eat their " chou fan shui" which is dry fried thick flat noodle with egg, steam Chinese sausage bun, char Siew bun and egg tart. Yummy!!!

Great dim sum options and always super busy with locals. The dry stir fry noodles is their speciality and along with the bbq pork buns were highlights. The bottomless Chinese tea is good too. Great value re price and nice staff. Would certainly return.

This restaurant was a regular eatery for our family. The foold is just as good now as then. Go for the sui gaw, deep fried noodles with large prawns and sar hor fun. The Hainan Chicken rice was also good.

The dim sum is not oily and the chicken rice is delicious. The shop might need a little renovate so it look more clean and new. The worker some are not so friendly. The beverage not much choice.

We visited Tho Yuen (crn Lebuh Campbell and Lebuh Cintra) for a breakfast of dim sum on a weekday morning about 9.30am. We were greeted warmly by the owner and started our meal with a pot of jasmine tea. There was a lovely selection of dim sum which were explained to us when we asked. The place was spotless and... I'm a local in Penang and my fiancée is from th States. So, we were going to our regular chicken rice store only to realise that it was closed that day. Dissapointed, we drove around the area to look for another food establishment and we found this place. First impression was horrible as no one bothered to attend to us,... More

Great selection of dumplings but make sure arrive early 8 to 9 am as they will sell out. Wash down with some Chinese tea (free refills) definitely worth a visit could waste a good amount of time eating and drinking here
