A little disappointing

We arrived at 10am, and may have missed most of the dim sum. The cart came by twice and by about 10:20, it did not come anymore. The dishes we had were decent, but not spectacular and the deep fried dishes were a touch too greasy. The selection was minimal. When cashing out, we were charged a bit... read more

It's like eating in a coffee shop style restaurant in Singapore. The food is not bad at all. The signature is the fish head bee hoon done in 2 styles. Remember to tell the waiting staff to instruct the cook to be less liberal with the salt. Otherwise you'll need a few drinks after that!

Visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekend. We ordered two noodle dishes and 2 dumplings. Although the restaurant wasn't full when we arrived, we had to wait almost 15 min for the first noodle dish to arrive and another 15 min for the second dish. The food taste was ok but we felt the price was quite high.

Yummy fried noodles would surely make you craving for more. The service staffs appear to be not so friendly. Quite reasonable if you are into authentic Cantonese fried flat noodles.

Definitely one of the kind, very authentic canton style Restaurant. Dont ever step in if u expect to be fast n superb services, coz they are busy all the time which means their foods are AMAZING! Fresh big prawn fried egg noodle, dry fish ball noodle, fried noodle ( chao fan shu), dumpling & homemade fish ball are highly recommended... More

Having been recommended in a guide book we came here for lunch on Saturday. We did receive any menus so we just ordered 2 noodles and some dumplings. The dumplings came on their own without any noodles, no one told us this when we were ordering. The food arrived and it was OK, I have had better Chinese food in... More

I couldn't believe how packed this place was so late on a Sunday evening - most certainly a good sign. It was a bit difficult to get a table for one, let alone flag down one of the busy servers - all attending to the large round tables of six or more diners. I ordered the Hong Kong noodles (with... Tho Yuen has a good dim sum, with the various dishes we had all reasonable quality and enjoyable. The tea was way too strong for my liking and seeing one of the staff light a cigarette in the middle of the restaurant before continuing work was unusual in this day and age. The service was reasonable, but the best bit... More

One of the best Dim Sum restaurants in town. Better taste compared to some others Dim Sum restaurants we have tried during in town. Just choose from the push carts with varieties of Dim Sum. Besides from Dim Sum, we ordered fried crispy noodle and also steam fish head on soya sauce on top of the white small noodle. The... More

Tho Yuen supplies Seven Terraces with pork buns which was good enough recommendation for us to visit. We had 5 plates of dim sums and a pork bun each and tea. Cost of the meal was less than 20 rm. The cafe area is relatively small but it is well worth the visit If you love pork buns and quality... More
