Delicious dim sum

A great place to experience in Chinatown. Popular with locals. The dim sum is cheap and delicious and the staff are very friendly too.

Great selection of dumplings but make sure arrive early 8 to 9 am as they will sell out. Wash down with some Chinese tea (free refills) definitely worth a visit could waste a good amount of time eating and drinking here

We arrived after the dim sum rush thinking to have a soupy lunch. Yes no worries, we left it to the kitchen - the stock was just so tasty and complex, must have been on the go for ages. Noodles still a bit chewy and some very tasty morsels of meat and veg. They even found us a couple of... More

We stumbled onto this restaurant. Past 2pm last Sunday afternoon. We were the lucky ones to get the last roasted chicken. Managed to get our hands on one bowl of white rice for the four of us. I guess we arrived too late. No Dim Sum in sight. But the "sang mee" otherwise known as Cantonese fried noodle was tasty.... More

This kopitiam offers one of the best Cantonese-style noodles. Apart from their noodles, try their dimsum, dumplings and fish ball soup. Their chicken rice is excellent too. During the moon festival, they bake their own traditional moon cakes too. A must try.

My boyfriend and I had been waking forever trying to find a place to eat breakfast, as most places were still closed or still prepping and stumbled across this and figured why not. One of the staff members was great, she came over to help us communicate with the ladies wheeling the carts (I speak bahasa and always get the... More

We visited this restaurant for lunch as it featured in our lonely planet guide and we weren't disappointed! Our server spoke excellent English and as there isn't a menu we just asked for his recomendations and picked a couple of dim sum off the cart. Everything he suggested was delicious and we will absolutely be back. For a traditional dining... More

In terms of the food taste, it's at Definite in top 10 percentile in Penang. The rest.. well.. a traditional classic crowdy dim sum restaurant, so you will expect to live with the rush traffic on the restaurant, chatty noises, staff are too busy to attend to you soon enough.. that environment is just classic and original CULTURE of Dim... Located in lebuh campbell, the place was pretty full for a weekday dim sum. Nothing was fantastic and dishes tend to be repetitive as the same minced meat appear in different varieties. The bao was also rather dry.
