Delicious BBQ pork buns!

My boyfriend and I had been waking forever trying to find a place to eat breakfast, as most places were still closed or still prepping and stumbled across this and figured why not. One of the staff members was great, she came over to help us communicate with the ladies wheeling the carts (I speak... read more

We visited this restaurant for lunch as it featured in our lonely planet guide and we weren't disappointed! Our server spoke excellent English and as there isn't a menu we just asked for his recomendations and picked a couple of dim sum off the cart. Everything he suggested was delicious and we will absolutely be back. For a traditional dining... More

In terms of the food taste, it's at Definite in top 10 percentile in Penang. The rest.. well.. a traditional classic crowdy dim sum restaurant, so you will expect to live with the rush traffic on the restaurant, chatty noises, staff are too busy to attend to you soon enough.. that environment is just classic and original CULTURE of Dim... Located in lebuh campbell, the place was pretty full for a weekday dim sum. Nothing was fantastic and dishes tend to be repetitive as the same minced meat appear in different varieties. The bao was also rather dry.

Food:| Delicious and variety of noodles served here. I like their Sang Mee and Hong Tho Mee in particular. Their signature is steamed fish head bee hoon which is also good. Noodles are served after 9.00am. Dim Sum is available before 9.00am. They also serve nice chicken rice for lunch. Venue is old coffee shop style which can be warm.... More

VIsited on a weekend lunch. Arrive the restaurant about 1330 hrs. Restaurant was crowded. It took more than 15 minutes to turn over the table for us. It was hot from inside out. After we ordered food came very slow. It too 20 minutes to service a dish where we were rushing, despite several times have remind them to served... More

We arrived at 10am, and may have missed most of the dim sum. The cart came by twice and by about 10:20, it did not come anymore. The dishes we had were decent, but not spectacular and the deep fried dishes were a touch too greasy. The selection was minimal. When cashing out, we were charged a bit more than... More

It's like eating in a coffee shop style restaurant in Singapore. The food is not bad at all. The signature is the fish head bee hoon done in 2 styles. Remember to tell the waiting staff to instruct the cook to be less liberal with the salt. Otherwise you'll need a few drinks after that!

Visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekend. We ordered two noodle dishes and 2 dumplings. Although the restaurant wasn't full when we arrived, we had to wait almost 15 min for the first noodle dish to arrive and another 15 min for the second dish. The food taste was ok but we felt the price was quite high.
