I couldn't believe how packed this place was so late on a Sunday evening - most certainly a good sign. It was a bit difficult to get a table for one, let alone flag down one of the busy servers - all attending to the large round tables of six or more diners. I ordered the Hong Kong noodles (with... Tho Yuen has a good dim sum, with the various dishes we had all reasonable quality and enjoyable. The tea was way too strong for my liking and seeing one of the staff light a cigarette in the middle of the restaurant before continuing work was unusual in this day and age. The service was reasonable, but the best bit... More

One of the best Dim Sum restaurants in town. Better taste compared to some others Dim Sum restaurants we have tried during in town. Just choose from the push carts with varieties of Dim Sum. Besides from Dim Sum, we ordered fried crispy noodle and also steam fish head on soya sauce on top of the white small noodle. The... More

Tho Yuen supplies Seven Terraces with pork buns which was good enough recommendation for us to visit. We had 5 plates of dim sums and a pork bun each and tea. Cost of the meal was less than 20 rm. The cafe area is relatively small but it is well worth the visit If you love pork buns and quality... More

Had an excellent breakfast of steamed pork dumplings and dim sum. Just two across the street from The Campbell House. They have been in business for 80 years (according to Charlie) and are famous for their noodle dishes at ounce time. Makes sure you say hello to Charlie who lived in Chicago for 25 years. He is a nice fellow... More

As a regular penang traveller, I've tried many penang street food. The dim sum selection is limited and their fried stuff are cold. Priced at the same range as prominent dim sum restaurant, this place was just disastrous experience for me. Like my penangnite friend say: disgrace of penang food!

So glad we came here. It was recommended by our reception guy and we kind of stumbled upon it.   The main dude came and recommended a few dishes for us which were all delcious and ones that we probably wouldn't have ordered oursleves so it was great that he did. Good authentic Chinese food!

A famous old world name which has unfortunately slacked and now officially serves one of the worst dim sum I have ever eaten in my life. The baked goods (e.g. egg tart, pork tart) was served hard and stone cold. For the steamed items, the fishball actually felt and tasted toxic. The pau had horribly thick skin and unextraordinary fillings... More

We stepped in here by a chance and were lucky to find a spot in the back since the place was packed (mostly with locals, which is always a good sign). The manager (I suppose) came to us and explained the menu. We chose their special crispy noodle dish, the fried rice and dumplings. He even came back to our... More

I wanted to rated this shop less than 3 star because the service is really really bad. The people don't really care about their customer. The food is good just the service is bad and you can get same good food elsewhere
