Ordered their Lassi, Pesto Pasta, Chicken Pot Pie, mint tea (in a teapot) and their pizzas and loved them so much.

Nice old fashioned setting in a heritage building in Chulia street. the owner Jeff is passionate about his food and u can taste that. Any dish can be made into a vegetarian option as well. Jeff is so passionate that he grows his own herbs to make sure they r organic His pastas r absolutely amazing. Whenever we r in... More

We found the Ecco by chance on a walk around Georgetown. When we looked in we were greeted by the chef who was really friendly and spoke good English. We were hesitant to eat Italian food in Asia (after having been in Phuket for 3 weeks - and the Italian food there is somewhat ordinary!!) but decided to give it... More

Very charming little restaurant. According to a friend, they handmade their own pasta. So, as a pasta freak, i wanted to try it. But, it wasn't exactly pasta. It tasted exactly like "pan mee" (chinese flat noodles) with cream sauce. Anyway, yoghurt lassi was good. If you are not such a discriminating pasta fan, you would say is a damn... More

While Penang can be considered a food city, it is very easy to have a bad meal here, especially Western food. This restaurant is on one of the main tourist strips and is rather plain-looking, we sought it out after reading the reviews here. The music (simple, good jazz) and how plain the place is completely works for what they... More

Second visit to Ecco and we did not like it as much as the first time. The food was okay, but not really special. Staff very friendly, but hard to get their attention. Nice, but not again.

I found this little place quite by accident. It has a simple menu of home made pizza and pasta, a few chicken dishes and then drinks. The pizza was one of the best I have ever eaten with a lovely base and great cheese. Considering it was all homemade, I thought it was great value for money - 18 ringets... More

We enjoyed the food. Kids tried the Pizza which is one of the best I had in times. Bit more expensive than what you are paying in many other restaurants in Malaysia but it was worth the money. Friendly staff and good food.

Great pizza here, pasta looks good - quaint little cafe right by the intersection of Chilia and Cintra

The pizza at this place is very good (and not only for a Malayan Pizza! If the restaurant was in Europe I would eat there very often). Its not so cheap as you would think, but the quality is worth it. The lassi is also very good.
