Great for drinks or a meal

This is about the only place on Pangkor Island that could be called a restaurant, the rest are just simple roadside shacks. It is located on Coral Beach, just north of busy Teluk Nipah, enjoying an enviable location on the beach, with great sunsets and nice views over to little Pulau Giam. Just be... read more

Went there twice and each time was splendid. A great place to watch the sunset with a cold beer and, then have a candlelit dinner. Service was top class. Loved every moment from.start to finish.

Good service from the enthusiastic staff, and quality meals - especially Western food. Portions are large - 2 people could share a starter and main course, and still feel full. The Western-style food was very well-prepared, hotel standard for sure. Local food also OK, but I would recommend the Western options for the price paid. During the day, you can... More

If you want to eat delicious food while sitting steps from the ocean, this is your place. Staff was attentive and accomodating. Food was tasty. If you eat here, there are a few lounge chairs by the ocean that you can use for free. In a quieter section of beach, just a 5 minute walk from the crowded main beach... More

Well, let's get the beer out of the way first. On this island Daddy's seems to be the one and only place where you can get a beer with your food. Major plus from my viewpoint. And the food is pretty darn good too. I had Malaysian crab curry. Kind of messy cracking all that crab, but very tasty. My... More

Most every traveler who has visited Pangkor has tried Daddy's at least once if for no other reason than the location. Don't get me wrong the food is good but the location makes this place. The food cost is higher here than nearby restaurants but so is the quality of the food. The beachfront sunset location are it's best selling... More

I have just returned from an 8-day stay on Pangkor Island with my Mum and two friends, and I have to say Daddy's Cafe with its wonderful staff was the highlight of our trip! We ate there every day (lunch or dinner, sometimes both!) and relaxed on the beautiful beach. Nothing like enjoying awesome food with your feet in the... More

The best thing about this cafe is the location which is right on the beach. You can sip your drink and watch the sun set....absolutely priceless. Since we were vegetarian, we had ordered a veg pizza which was delicious. We had also ordered their indian dall smething which was average as the salt was too much. However the staff was... More

We stayed 3 full days nearby and kept returning to this restaurant. It is located right on the beach, the staff is very pleasant, helpful and courteous. The food is very fresh and tasty with large portions : we tried the rolls, the satay, the Alualu fish, the prawns, some curry dishes as well as banana fritter for desert and... More
