Morning Dim Sum at Foh San - a certain Must Do in Ipoh

To visit Foh San for Dim Sum is a must do in Ipoh. I have visited Ipoh many times by now, and I always try to stop by here for morning Dim Sum each time I come to Ipoh. The atmosphere is classical with the ambience of early 20th Century. I may not be a local, but in my personal... read more

Ipoh largest dimsum restaurant. The ambience is just eating in Guangzhou. Food is hearted to make to cater tis kind of large crowd, although many people dun like its too congestion. Nevertheless, tis is the landmark of ipoh, and if you wanted to see and taste what is ipoh.

After hearing so much of Foo San dim sum, we made a point to have breakfast there. We expect a high standard but end up a little bit disappointed. The presentation is good but the taste is so so only .... nothing special....

For the incorrigible locals, this is the place the locals will have their morning yum cha. But objectively, the factory produced dim sum is nothing to shout about. In fact over these few years, a few dim sum establishment in Ipoh had up their marks and had easily outdo foh san. Across the road from foh san is the ming... More

My all time favourite place for dim sum. Great variety where you can have traditional dim sum or fancy creation by their chef.

We got to this place at 10 in the morning .We thought it was too late for breakfast and too early for lunch to be crowded. But the place was packed with so many people in line already. It is a large place so we could be easily seated and have nice dim sums. It costs not so much.
