I have always enjoyed their delicate koay teow and the tasty clear soup that comes with it and not forgetting the succulent chicken with the crunchy bean sprouts! So when my husband and I were on our visit home to Penang, we purposely drove the highway to Ipoh just to have their Bean Sprouts Chicken (Nya Choi Kai) for lunch.... More

Very tasty and juicy chicken with crispy bean sprouts. Enjoy it with either rice or koay teow soup. The mix meat ball and fish ball soup was good as well. If you want extra chilli, it is self service due to the constant crowd. To get a table, also be prepared to stand nearby a finishing group and "swoop in... More

Quick service, simple chicken noodle soup. This restaurant is very famous for green bean sprout. The chicken meat is very tender and smooth. Normally very crowded and noisy for lunch

Date of Visit: 19 Dec , Time : 3pm We are ok about eating in coffee shop setting@Lou Wong. We are reviewing Lou Wong after our lousy experience at Foo Sun Dim Sum (Foh Sun or Fok Sun, unsure, as the last letter is not clear on signage) on 20 Dec, so service at Lou Wong was not as bad... More

undeniably bad attitude of the person who served us and he even ordered us to tell him ONLY yes or no to the food he offered to us , all of us were really stunned and dumbfounded by the way they treated their customers ( I know it is famous for its bean spriut chicken and it is a must... More

We went during the school holidays and Onn Kee was sold out, another better shop at Cowan is not opened as well. We had to look for which table is going to finish eating, and waited for about 15 minutes beside the table. Suffice to say, if you came very far from overseas, and there are no other shops opened,... If you have not tried steamed chicken before, you might try this. However, it is not the DEFINITIVE taste of steamed chicken and for the price? More for the taste of tourists that needed to mention they tried bean sprout chicken.

Use to be very good and yummy , however since becoming a tourist drop off point, i believed it has turned this eatery into a commercialised center. Everything from the meat balls to chicken is now mass produced. Lost that "touch and flavor" ...so sad.

Service was prompt and pricing was decent. I expected silky smooth chicken but unfortunately it's no longer the taste I was expecting. Perhaps due to the huge crowds. The chicken feet was decent and the pork and fish ball soup was still delicious. Expect a bit of jostling or waiting for your table. Was told the On kee on the... More
