Still as good

There's some rather unfavourable reviews. I must disagree. The bean sprouts are juicy, tasty and peppery. The noodles are smooth as silk and soup clear but tasty. The chicken it self is also silky smooth and tender. It wasn't as overpriced as I thought it would be. Of course there are shops around... read more

I am here just to justify what other have already stated. This is one nice chicken rice shop. I am now expert foodie. And I am not a particular type. But I know tasty food from the rest. In short. I like what I ate here.

Overrated chicken rice eatery. Chicken was average. Hor fun was okay. Bean sprouts okay. Worth a try if you have not tried it before. But I will try my luck at random chicken rice stall in any old school Coffeeshop.

I visited this shop as recommended instead the experience was not a pleasant one. The staff who we ask to wipe out table was not happy that he breathed on the table and then wipe it. This is freaking disgusting. On top of that they were very rude and their service is not as claim. The food has lost it... More

Place was the busiest restaurant on the street, visited by tourists mainly. Chicken was tender and juicy but didn't find the wow factor that was expected, same with the self service chili sauce. Bean sprout was fantastic , crunch and fresh. Service was efficient, cashier will come and collect payment once the food been served. Local friend the price here... More

Heard alot about the bean sprout chicken. Tried it and don't find anything special. Not worth waiting/queing for tables.

Heard so much about their "ngar choi kai" and just had to try it out. Had a plate of chicken breast which came heavily garnished with spring onions and Chinese parsley. The sauce was terribly salty whiich offset the bland but tender chicken meat. The bean shoots were heavenly, tasty and crunchy, had to fight for my share with him... More

I went to Ipoh to taste some great food and this was the first restaurant I went to after I checked in. It was a bit challenging to communicate as not one of the servers understand English, except the madame (not sure if she was the owner or something). She took my order, when I heard 'ayam' and 'tauge' I... More
