Good Food and Service

Decor is a little Spartan but the welcome and service were excellent. The menu was clear and good advice was given by our server. We chose squid, prawn, mixed veg and fried rice, accompanied by fresh lime juice. The food was served very quickly - it was hot and delicious. The lime juice (without... read more

Looking for seafood dinner in Kuantan is not easy. Being by the sea does not mean that seafood is popular as it took us some looking around to find this basic place. Even TripAdvisor is not always right. Some restaurants were pit down as Seafood bit in reality don't sell it e.g Mint Restaurant in Kuantan. Well this very basic... More

I was here in Kuantan for a business trip. My colleagues and I tried this place, which is much quieter with lesser people. We had their sweet & sour fish, kang kung belacan, butter crayfish, salted egg squids and seafood fried rice. All I could say is that the food tasted amazing! My favourite would probably be the salted egg... More

We arrived to an absolutely deserted restaurant. We sat outside on the terrace and were served very promptly by staff who were helpful and friendly. We were overwhelmed by the generous size of the portions and the taste was second to none! We had steamed fish, Indonesian prawn curry, deep fried squid, mixed vegetables and fried rice. Wow. Each dish... More

Once buzzling, now this eatery has fallen on lean times. Diners have fallen by more than half, and there is no more queue to get a table for dinner. If anything, those staying in hotels in Kuantan will probably find it quite a bother to travel to this restaurant when there are nearer eatery which is just as good if... More

Eat there with 7 people. 5 adults and 2 children. We ordered crab, butter cheese lobster, fried calamari, steam fish and vegetables and cost us around MYR 300+ Consider cheap with quantity and quality of the restaurant. Taste good and have a lot choices of seafood. Not so much queue compare to their neighbors but they serve us with good... More

We went to Berserah Seafood for an evening meal on Thursday. While the front of the restaurant is very close to the main road, tables out the back have a lovely view of the local beach. It was Hari Raya Haji, a national holiday, so there weren't many eating houses open that night. We had eaten at the local Balok... More

We just had our seafood dinner on a Saturday at Pak Su Seafood Restaurant (Pak Su), which is one of the two most popular Chinese seafood restaurants by the seaside in Kuantan. In my review, I had expressed our disappointment with their mediocre food, poor service and exorbitant charges among other unpleasant issues. Seven of us decided to try out... More

Went here for dinner last night. We went early so there were no other patrons. We ordered the chilli crab, salted egg squid, black pepper venison and steamed broccoli and mushrooms. The food was really delicious and quite decently priced. All that and two drinks cost of RM140. Will definitely come again whenever we come to Kuantan. The restaurant overlooks... More

Just had family dinner at this restaurant. Sat outside, great sea view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good varied menu at average price. Offered crab, shrimp, tom-yam, squid, rice and veg options, small, medium or large. Paid just over 300rm for 8 of us and more than we could eat. Worth a visit unless you need clean toilets and AC.
