After reading all the review, we drove to the restaurant with little hope of finding an available table as that was the super long weekend in Malaysia. Surprisingly, it was not so crowded and we got a table ready for us. Choose to sit in the air-con area. it would be more comfortable. We ordered few dishes, the taste of... More

It was hari raya holiday period, the restaurant was very crowded. Most dishes were either sold out or not available. We order few dishes, the taste of coconut prawns and asam fish was good, but yam ring and tofu clay pot was so so (not worth for money). The lady boss who took order has a very bad attitude and... Really worth going. Ordered 5 dishes including signature dish (coconut prawn) for 7 people. Bill came out to RM128. A word of caution however. I highly recommend to do early booking to avoid disappointment and unnecessary delays due to high volume of customers.

The service here is terrible, especially the lady boss who took the order. We understand that it is super peak during Hari Raya and every staff is busy but the attitude and service they provided is unacceptable, the lady who served us kept asking what we want but everything we ordered, she said no more. When we asked her back... More

Loved eating here. Now I'm not a big eater but when the food is this nice I can finish it all and have extras! With rice we had side dishes of sweet and sour chicken, mixed vege, fish and the house speciality of prawns in a coconut shell. All tasted great and it's now one of my very favourite restaurants... We've visit Hai Tian on almost every trip to Kuantan -- the food is consistently good, the pricing fair. Our favourites are the marmite or sweet & sour pork, salted egg squid, butter prawns, four-kinds-of-beans, broccoli, local tofu and most of all, the different types of fish either steamed or fried. Our recent visit didn't disappoint. We were 10 adults... More

We order 5 dishes (4 as photos & 1 vegetable) per 6ppl, coast us around RM150, consider cheap price & the food are very good to me. Staff/boss are friendly; foods serve very fast, within 30 min although restaurant are half occupy; car park are average; restaurant can be found easily. Recommend: Coconut prawn (is milk curry type), Kerabu mangga... More

We went twice in two evenings to this large Chinese Restaurant. It is also sign-posted as Restoran Seri Pantai Jaya. There is ample car parks at the back. You will encounter families, tourists, business people. On one night, we even saw a wedding feast in the main section with singers on stage; walk-in customers were welcome in a small section....
