Fabulous Satay, inexpensive in basic surroundings

My Malaysian friend took me here for dinner and we had fabulous chicken and beef satays with packed Malaysian rice as well as coconut milk rice. Not keen on the packed rice, which is served cold, but the Satays were wonderful, especially the chicken. Perfectly skewered and with a fabulous sauce... read more

Once you've tried it, you will want to come again, for the satay and all the other food offerings such as Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng etc are excellent. The service is fast and friendly whilst the prices are modest. The place is a always packed, so you may need to queue. Some say the satay is better than Satay Samuri... More

very quick service indeed. but too bad they do not provide menu booklet for you to see, so you can just choose from photos displayed at the restaurant or by what the waiter told you. delicious food! we ordered beef and chicken satay with ketupat, nasi lemak, and bakso. The satay gravy is delicious. a must if you crave for... More

Here u can get different kind of satay like rabbit , beef, chicken and offal satay. I enjoy beef satay as u can taste all the spices mixed togther infuse in the beef. Chicken satay also quite nice. Very packed on weekend especially night time. My friend love their nasi goreng cili padi; very spicy but yet delicious.

To satay lover, don't miss this place when you visit Kuantan. Nasi lemak and other food also very nice too. The only things is maybe you have to wait for quite long because of fullhouse especially during weekend.

The best satay i ate in Malaysia. Well prepared and juicy. The nasi lemak is also very special. The bakso however is not that good, however tasty the soup is always cold. And carefull if you order tea it is super sweet. Satay Zul must be on the list of all tourist if you want to enjoy a taste of... More

The satays are succulent and tasty. Variety of meat to choose from. One nagging point is on certain days, some of the meat options are not available - supplier forget to supply? Other than satay, you can eat foods like curry, soup and fried noodles and also fried rice.

The Satay had no fatty bits in the middle, the kuah kacang (peanut sauce) was subtle (not super spicy) and not too sweet. The Nasi Lemak was good, enjoyed it very much. I'd recommend the place to anyone making a passing visit!

The restaurant serves good satay for a fast dinner but nothing special. The beef and chicken were ok and the food was delivered very fast. Some negative things is that the restaurant is very close to the road and the service is not that good.

Average seating capacity but still comfortable enough for a meal. The staff did their best to maintain their efficiency, so please do expect and understand when there is a slight delay here and there. Their best selling items were nevertheless satay of course, offering the selections of chicken, beef, mutton and others. However, beef and mutton did get sold out... More
