quality going down , bad service and costly... overrated... waited for almost an hour for 20 chicken's satay 20 beef and 3 ketupat... Hmmm,
Chicken satay was good. beef satay a little tough but nice. The mutton one ( I think) can't remember as my husband was the one to order the 23 varieties. We realised that the marinate for the various meats were different. It really brings out the taste of the meat and all. I like the gravy. of course, satay gravy... More
As the name of satay zul. The infamous malay satay circa 70's this is where all kuantan people should appreciate food.
vast variety of satay plus other malay dishes such as nasi lemak and nasi minyak. either eat in or take away. the gravy is nice and dont forget to order ketupat or nasi impit to go with the satay. parking is a little bit difficult especially at night and may be have to part a bit farther.
a nice size satay with a reasonable price. everyone can afford it. very popular here but their service a bit slow maybe due to many customer waiting to.
Visit this place with low expectations and came out fully satisfied! There are varieties of satay to choose from as well as other local food. i used to visit this place with family when i was younger(few years back).the food were pretty impressive but too bad they didn't really keep up. recently i went there with my family again but unexpectedly the quality was low..really disappointed!
Went there about 1045pm and most of the selection is sold out, is displayed on the board in the restaurant. Ordered chicken & lamb satay, mee soup and nasi lemak. The satay took very long to come. And it taste average, same goes to the nasi lemak and mee soup.
