the staff were unfriendly. I have no place to sit and they just pretend like never see me. I sat outside on wet chair and table. they took so long to get my order. but the satay was good!

Drove by when they were closed. Didn’t look like much of a restaurant. But we came back when they were open for dinner and found a hole lot of people waiting at the take-away counter. Inside it was also full of guests, and we were given a table and immediately got a bowl of peanut sauce. We ordered three types... More

Satay Zul has long been a feature at Jalan Telok Sisek. It is a two storey corner shop lot which appears simple. But once you step in and see the crowds, you will realise it is something special. The food is at least. Their satay is great - delicious and tender, and there's a variety of satay from beef, chicken,... More

Always crowded and noisy. Very popular with Malay families. Does not serve beer / alcohol so rarely use this restaurant except for takeaways, as I live just round the corner. The place is on a busy street junction and car parking is difficult.

If ever you visit kuantan do drop by satay zul for the taste of beserah satay which was famous in kuantan. The satay is quite big and the peanut sauce is very tasty and not hot.

Tried the satay many years ago. Tried again recently and the taste is still good. We had it at a branch nearer to ECM shopping centre. A food must try when travelling in Kuantan

How convinient, the outlet was just walking distance from our hotel. Specialized in Satay however other food like, Nasi Lemak some local dishes was available. The peanut gravy for Satay was awesome and the satay texture and taste was good. The 'sambal' for Nasi Lemak was excellent too, also 'Assam Boi' drink was beyond this world. However, the restaurant was... More

Chicken satay was good. beef satay a little tough but nice. The mutton one ( I think) can't remember as my husband was the one to order the 23 varieties. We realised that the marinate for the various meats were different. It really brings out the taste of the meat and all. I like the gravy. of course, satay gravy... More
