Nice satay sauce, relishes and nasi lemak servings. Lunchtimes are not too crowded and service can be pretty prompt and attentive. adequate interior decor and friendly atmosphere for dining

...means delicious! Should try their nasi impit with kuah kacang (peanut sauce gravy)... yummy! Should also try their satay, chicken and beef. For my foreigner frens, satay is a dish of seasoned, skewered and grilled meat, served with a sauce, for this case it is usually the peanut sauce. It's not so spicy, so don't worry much :-)

Zul's satay sticks are very generous with the meat and there's no customary middle piece of fat in the middle (which suits my taste). You can tell they use quality meat but the peanut sauce is on the sweet side. Drinks are decent and not too sweet. They accept credit card for amounts RM50 and above.

The food was great but I think the stress about having dinner before 720pm ruined what would otherwise have been a good experience. We travelled over Ramadan (fasting season) and it was a challenge to get a table (even with a prior reservation) because the person who took our order hasn't reported to work yet. We eventually did get seated... More

The chicken satays were good. The beef satays were too sweet, they caramelized around the edges and too dry for our taste. The sauce is nice albeit on the sweet side.

This is the place for me and my wife have satay for dinner and I can say it is the best satay in town especially for the lamb satay. They also offer nasi lemak and nasi dagang and both dishes are good as well. The price is reasonable for the quality of food served. The service is what I called... More

Went to both outlet on the same day.1st outlet opposite the stadium was quite okay but there is a lots of ants crawling on the wall.Service was good and the place was airy and comfortable. The chicken satay was a bit hard to swallow but the mutton was tender and juicy. At the second outlet,it was a different ambience altogether. The place are... The service is very very very slow. Waited for one and a half hours for our chicken satay when we finally decided to go some place else that can actually serve food. Nice satay gravy tho.

Service was good. We were attracted by the satay being grilled outside, which smelled fantastic. Unfortunately, the bulk production means that some satay might be nicely charred on the outside but uncooked inside. That aside, the first bite is redolent of lemongrass, but it's just sweet afterwards. On the bright side, you can ask for "kurang manis" (less sweet) when... More

Lots of good write ups about this restaurant. Opens only in the evening for dinner. It seems most of these "famous" food places are only opened for dinner in Kuantan. Satay is average. Quality of meat is good but beef is over marinated. Personally, I feel satay in Kajang is better. But if you are in Kuantan this is the... More
