Nice and homely place

Food is very affordable with a good selection of meat and vegetables. Flies seems to be a common problem throughout the highlands. But food is generally clean in the more established stalls.

The food was served but without spoons, chopsticks, and the drinks ordered are very slow to serve. Not recommended while during pack holiday season.

Service was commendable less the steamboat soup was not strong enough. Also, the piped-in music was set to repeat itself from the time my wife and I entered till we left :s Further, there was this dog that likes to hang around the eatery and kept slipping under our table which was disturbing. The good point was the eatery 'reserved'... More

Portion of vegetable was small for the price paid and disproportionate to plate size Wan Tan Hoe tasted average Singapore Mee Hoon was burnt, less ingredients and the WORST part was found a fried FLY in the dish ! Needed something hot because it was extremely cold that day and we went here because of the reviews on tripadvisor. Over all the set (rm40 for 2 people) was alright and that was about it.

had lunch here and ordered 3 dishes and 2 white rice.. Black pepper Deer meat was tender and nice. Love the claypot tofu. I asked for asparagus with beans but they did not have any asparagus that day so they changed it to some other type of beans. Portions were quite decent for two.. Total bill was RM47.

Choose this restaurant because of Tripadvisor reviews but did not felt anything special. The staff were very friendly and explained how the steamboat worked. We can choose from A La Carte as the children did not keen on steamboat. The compliment with the 2 person steamboat were decent size and fresh. The Yang Chun fried rice were very tasty, my... More

honestly, there's many doing charcoal steamboat now. We went because of the reviews in tripadvisor. Vegetables are indeed very fresh. Portion is average for two pax. I would say it's not very good value, but I guess everyone charges about the same because of the charcoal steamboat hype. Overall decent food.
