We decided to eat at Yeong Wah based on the reviews and blogs. We went there early during lunch and it was relatively quiet but slowly filled up quite quickly. It is located right after the entrance of Star Regency, down the slope at the end of the row after Kavy Boutique Hotel. We walked from Parkland Hotel to Yeong... More

Lots of local CH folks eating here so u know its good. In fact, food is great! Kids really enjoyed it and variety plus freshness of veges was undeniable. Favorites are the sweet n sour pork, and the sweet potato leaves cooked with garlic. Oh, and the chopped garlic on the side was heavenly! Don't miss the Gong Pow Sliced... More

This is a mixed review on my side since I quite enjoy the food here (I'm quite picky about this). But during the big Malaysia holidays, sometimes there will be a lot of tourists that will eat here and this makes quality control a bit of an issue when it's very packed. If you see that it's empty, don't be... More

Almost all the dishes we ordered turned out to be nice. And the price is reasonable. The fried sotong is fresh and the vege was nicely prepared.

The zichar dishes were quite nice; they were not too salty and oily. The dragon beard veggie was nice and tender. The sweet and sour pork ribs were not bad. The toufu dish was nice because they made their own toufu. The prawns with salted duck egg was quite unique. It's away from the main road. If you were to... More

Have our dinner there on one of the nights . Place is messy , no menu and you just order what you want . Quality is so so only.

This is my second posting as the first just disappeared as I was submitting. Since this place is worthy of mention, I am rewriting all over again! This restaurant is a bit off the main road so may be a bit difficult to find but then again how big is Brinchang?? Do 1 or 2 rounds and you are sure... More

Chinese food around Cameroon is not so good as KL and depends what you order. Steamboat is very popular but if you want Ala Carte then check out Brinchang You Hoo restaurant popular with locals but don't order the mushroom dish as it is bad. Its a bit overrated if you ask me. Check out Yeong Wah Restaurant which is... More

We stayed in Cameron Highlands for about a week and tried a number of restaurants in the Brinchang area. Yeong Wah was by far the best in both quality, quantity ans value for money. It is fairly standard Chinese cuisine and has a daily selection of pre-cooked dishes that are cheaper than dishes cooked for individual orders. We ate here... More
