At least half the stalls were closed both nights I was there. Maybe due to the school holidays, or possibly only open in the early hours. Average food court offering nothing in the way of unique cuisine. Stalls operated by, and mainly frequented by, the city's ethnic Chinese population.

Was in Kota Bharu several times on a working trip. I have always stayed in one of the numerous back-packer's Inn around Jalan Kebun Sultan. There are several Chinese restaurant along Jalan Kebun Sultan besides this food court. As in hawker food court in other towns, this is just another ordinary place, There's the usual chinese economy rice, Bah Kut... More

This hawker centre has a delectable mix of mainly Chinese and Thai food, all under one roof. From bite-sized snacks like Seremban Siew Pow (baked pastry with chicken/pork fillings) and 'yau char kwai' (crullers) to complete meals ala carte style, it is all available here. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the hunt for Chinese food in Kelantan. Parking... More

This food court is located in the Chinatown area of Kota Bharu. They serve many hawker food and also Thai food. The food served here is quite good and they sell till late at night. Across the road, there is a stall selling "khao jam" : Thai Nasi kerabu which is delicious. Further down the road, there is a famous... More

I have been going to this place in 2011 when i was staying in Kota Bharu and went back again recently. I would say this place is a heaven for local food in Kota Bharu. Its a food court with many stalls under one roof. You get mainly Chinese and Thai food here with some Malay food also (limited Malay... More

It's a good place to find local cuisine that is different from one another.I suggest you try the 'nasi kerabu' with 'somtam',it's taste a bit soury and sweets and combine it with 'tomyam' and there you go,you're gonna love it :)

Although I had been to Kota Bharu several times in the past, I had not been to this food court.... I presumed it did not exist. Delicacies available here are similar to those in other cities in Peninsular Malaysia. This makes me feel at home. Along the Kebun Sultan Road, are several Chinese coffee shops and restaurants offering non- halal... More

Do not go to food court but a few shops away to try the delicious duck rice. There is beer there but expensive as it is hard to come by.

One of the few places that was open for lunch when we visiting during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. Good selection of Malaysian hawker food, decently priced. Try the 'liang teh', a Chinese herbal drink served either hot or cold. The Seremban Siu Pau near the entrance makes a great take away snack to pack for the beach!
