Seriously great Japanese food with good service and a very nice selection of sake. Staff recommended promotion which was excellent. Bill in the end for high quality food and rare sake only 400RM, really decent. Impressed sure to return..... Only minor improvement point could be that the decor and interior feels a little bit old. Time to update perhaps?

After reading rave reviews on trip advisor, we were excited to try this restaurant as Japanese cuisine is the family's favorite. What a disappointment! Overpriced, unremarkable cuisine with lackluster service. There is nothing redeeming about this restaurant - feel free to skip as there are much more authentic, interesting and enjoyable restaurants on the island!

Found this restaurant while on my way to Awana hotel. Rated as Malaysia's best restaurant, so out of curiosity, we give it a try. Everything is so fresh! Summary: Our most expensive meal at Langkawi turned out to be the worst. Tip: Order some less pricey, standard Japanese fare and try it out first. We had dinner there three times. It was one of our the best experiences so far in a japanese restaurant. Staff was always very attentive. Our highlight was by far the Kobe Beef. We have never eaten such a delicious meat in our life! We also recommend the handmade ice as dessert.
