Overpriced and tasteless

we had fabulous prawn noodle (RM19) and signature percik (23). They self praised too much. The prawn noodle was too salty and the prawns were not fresh. The percik with rice was bland. On top of that a 500 ml of mineral water had cost me RM9. We would not mind so much if the taste was ok, but to... read more

The menu is rather extensive and it should be considered a restaurant with an attached bakery. We tried the chicken satay, the cray fish soup, the laksa and the club sandwich. All dishes tasted fresh and original, and all this at more than reasonable prices. Add to this the nice view on the harbour and you get a kind of... More

Location - Perdana Quay, overlooking the yachts. Very relaxed setting and you may even choose to dine outside. Food - other than the great baked goods, they serve other food as well. The pasta was great and presented nicely. The tamarind sea bass was also delicious and nicely presented. Fruit juice is actually a smoothie and not like those diluted... More

This is my 2nd visit and it still provided me with a good and decent meal in Langkawi. It is located at Telaga Harbour with a magnificent view of these huge yachts parked just right outside of the bay. If not mistaken, the Danna Resort is nearby making it a place for an all day dining for their guests (good... More

We ate breakfast combo (for 2 people) for 24 RM. Had toast, eggs, coffee hash potatoes, cheese tomatoes. Food was good.

Headed to this lovely bakery /restaurant for lunch one day recently and was pleasantly surprised by the range of non bakery foods available. The view is lovely as you look out at the yachts moored in the harbour. They offer a range of drinks (try the juices they are just lovely) my lamb dish was done to perfection and beautifully... Granted, the core business is bakery, but The Loaf can serve a complete three course menu as well. So it is a fully equipped restaurant as well. A nice sit-down can be had at the outside tables at Telaga Harbour with a view on the gleaming white yachts. The service of the staff is quick and friendly. The sea bass... More

We arrived at the cafe in the afternoon and it was quite empty. The place was not well maintained, and the bakery had almost no bread on its shelves. Was really hoping to try their bread, but alas. The lobster bisque was really good, even though it didn't come in the bread bowl (no more bread). The lobster pasta on... More

Just had a great omelette (I ditched the beef bacon), croissant and latte here. We arrived late last night and berthed in the Telaga marina where this place is. We had sailed straight up from Penang and needed fuel! Pretty reasonably priced and fresh. Nice staff and the kids enjoyed the hot chocolate.
