Set on the edge of the Telaga Harbour Marina this tranquil spot offers the ideal location for a morning psaltery and coffee. We enjoyed the ambience and a very good selection of fresh morning treats. We ended up bring our friends back the following day. Escape the bustling beach areas and relax in a room with a view.

I was expecting the usual fresh pastries and excellent service... The pastries on the shelves were almost as good as what I'm used to in Kuala Lumpur, but the choice of food in their menu is disappointing. The food preparation was also not up to par. In summary, When you're here in Langkawi, eat somewhere else

good place for lunch or hi-tea. you can have breads or pastries from the bakery and if you are dining in, you can pick your bread, buns or pastries and the waitresses will serve them for you. we ordered a tuna nicoise salad to share and from the bakery, we tried the cranberry bagel and french croissant. the bagel is... We loved The Loaf at Perdana Quay which was located close to our resort so was perfect for breakfast, huge choice including massive continental / pastry selection - proper croissants. I suspect the chefs are highly trained as the food was excellent quality. Great value. The service was impeccable, very personal and made us very welcome. This Loaf overlooks the... More

DInner at The Loaf with my partner was just what we needed. We shared a green mango salad - which opened my eyes to the merits of green mango - and I had the Tom Yum soup with rice while she had chicken satay skewers. All were carefully prepared and quite tasty. The Tom Yum was pretty bloody impressive, in... More

After staying at the Sheraton and found that the breakfast there was just plain boring and awful, we asked our driver to suggest somewhere that had decent food, The Loaf we were so pleased we ate there most mornings, fresh juices and pastries that melt in your mouth, the scrambled big breakfast very tasty, unfortunately with the weather being summer... A quick lunch with friends ought to be a relaxing one turns out to be a disaster as the kitchen is not sensitive to customer needs by replacing similar menu without consulting the customer. Food is ok, nice ambiance.

Sought out the place for bread due to the fave reviews on tripadvisor and the blogs. This bread is very expensive (RM33 for 6) and over-rated. I went in the late morning (11am). There were flies tasting these bread. I still bought them though for takeaway. Unfortunately, breads were NOT fresh and tasted tough & stale. (How can such an... More

I love The Loaf breads since I tried in KL. The only thing is there is lesser choices here. I understand why cos they have lesser people in Langkawi probably. But the breads which I bought this type is still as per my likings.
