I ate at the Llawa restaurant earlier today and it was a wonderful experience. The place has such a peaceful and relaxing vibe. The food was delicious. I had the chicken breast in roti served with a salad, all tasted great. The staff was really nice. The gentlemen there Sahidan was so sweet giving me tips on things to do... More

My family and I had a party for 50 adults, 3 kiddies and 2 babies at Llawa lounge in late April. The menu etc was organised through the internet and Peter the owner/manager was very helpful, responded quickly unlike others we contacted. It was a mixed party of locals and Overseas visitors and the food had to be tailored to... More

This restaurant is owned by the lovely resort we stayed at which was called Villa Molek. Menu was quite small but what they cooked was very good. Ambience is very good and one can sit indoors or outdoors. This restaurant is located right next door to L'Osteria Italian Restaurant where we didn't have such a great dining experience. I was surprised... More

We tried the Llawa restaurant which is attached to Villa Molek during our recent visit to Langkawi and were not disappointed. Delicious food with fantastic local flavours. Loved the beef rending and the black pepper beef. Slightly pricy compared to other places, but that's compensated by excellent staff, reasonable drinks and a fantastic ambience in their dining area. P.s. free... More

The food & service in this restaurant is impeccable - we were baffled as to why we were the only customers. It seemed people preferred the pizza place next door - why not holiday in Italy?! We shared the curry puffs & spring Llawa roll for starters - yum. For mains we had the lamb stew & beef rendang -... More

The Llawa restaurant is attached to the Villa Molek Villas and it's front is slightly back off the main road. The owners , Peter and Sue, have in the last months taken it over from a Indian Curry restaurant and have decorated the inside to a high standard. Probably the best along this main road through the town. They have... More

We chose this restaurant as we wanted to try real Malaysian food rather than Thai, Indian, Arabic, Chinese etc.... The plethora of different cuisines available on a small Malaysian island is quite incredible! Sadly the restaurant was very empty despite being inviting and in a good location... The pizzeria next door was packed so I question why this was the... More

My partner and I ate at Llawa Dining a Lounge this evening. Lovely restaurant with very friendly staff. After having satay for starters, beef rendang and mutton kurma for main then apple crumble and carrot cake ( not all together I hasten to add!) we were both well and truly stuffed! Gorgeous food and we can't wait to return

My wife and I went here by accident after not being able to get in to another restaurant due to a function. It was quiet but the menu looked ok, and in the end we were happy we did. We tried a couple of Malaysian dishes and both were particular nice with good flavours, they both had little touches such... More

Eventually found the restaurant which was easy in the end as it is on the main drag but slightly disarmingly our lovely cab driver or any of his mates had heard of it. Nevertheless when we got there we found the staff to be lovely and welcoming and the surroundings tasteful and contemporary. The menu was as seems to be... More
