This place is opened at 14:00 onwards and we actually arrived 30min earlier which was not a problem and we ordered already our drinks. When entering the restaurants, the first thing you'll notice is that it's very basic in terms of decoration. But it makes it perhaps therefore more authentic! When I asked for the seafood tanks, the waiter took... More

Good food, plenty of attentive staff tending to the tables, can't fault the price. Ordered a live lobster to be steamed on New Year's eve which cost us M$130. Would have touched the M$200-mark if you're at the popular seafood restaurant (the one named after a flower :) ) along Pantai Cenang. I know cos I've been a regular at... More

Visit earlier before the sunset, walk around nearby the beach. Must try the prawn or crab fried with coconut milk and salt eggs.

The ambience is good with very friendly service I ordered a big crab during my visit and it's cheap compare to other restaurant in Langkawis. The fee is RM 10.00 per 100gram. I ordered 2 crabs with total 1200gram and I took 2 hours to finish eating, it's really huge!

Loved the steamed tiger garoupa, crabs, char kuey tew, and stir fried vegetable. Meal for two plus drinks came to just under 200 RM. Nice location with village feel. Free shuttle from hotel is a bonus. Attentive staff.

We decided to try Shin Mi based on the advice of our hotel's driver who had picked us up from the airport. My father-in-law owns one of the more popular Chinese seafood restaurants in Queensland, Australia (Ocean Seafood on the Gold Coast), which my wife had also worked at part-time for over a decade through school and University. We always... More

The owner/cook has died recently but the restaurant continued. The restaurant itself looks OK and typical Chinese (not too fancy) We were warned that the great cook has died and that it was uncertain how the food would work out. Well we ordered several typical Chinese dishes and only the fried rice was hot, fresh and had a bit of... More

No view, not a fancy restaurant but they know how to cook seafood. I rate 5 star because I knew it was not a fancy restaurant so didn't expect it to be. Was simply looking for great seafood and they did not disappoint. I wouldn't recommend ordering the steamed crab though. Have some fried mantis shrimps and sweet, sour and... More
