My husband had dinner on our last night in Langkawi. The restaurant was within walking distance of La Pari Pari. We had the fried noodles, fried rice, prawn sesame toast and two soft drinks. The food was delicious. The service was prompt ant the staff very friendly. The bill was very reasonable/ cheap-RM 35. If I have a criticism, the... More

Stopped in as we were passing close to afternoon closing time. Both had a wonderful bowl of Curry Noodles. Soft drinks and beer available, the proprietor was keen to make sure we enjoyed the food.

I ordered a banana split. The first spoon I took I had to spit out! It tasted old milk. I went in and told Fat Mum that it was something wrong with it. That it tasted old. She told me that it was home made and that I maybe don't like homemade ice.... We left and went to the nearest... More

We ordered the fire noodles, a vegetable dish and a steamed fish. Steamed fish is sold by weight at RM 8 per 100 g. That's on the high side as others range between RM 6.50 - RM 7. Food is average - fire noodles is just yee mee in aluminum foil and comes in a flaming plate. After the food... More

Went there for two times as it is near to our hotel. Food is good. Service is just average. When we asked for food recommendation, they seems not to be so happy to reply to us. Price is towards expensive.

We had the Lobster and it was nice! But I am sure it was prawn, the Lobster comes pre cut open, and she says she takes out the meat, frys it, and puts it back. hmmm.... But it was nice regardless (but expensive ofcourse). Nice little place.

Best for local and home cooked food, friendly especially Fat Mum herself, don't be shy to ask for her recommendations. Reasonable price.

Food is nice. Simple nice. Nothing to shout about. The man behind the counter can really ruin ones mood to eat. Grumpy man. Homemade taufoo is nice. Overall food is average but nice. Drinks, alcoholic ones are pricey. One can Heineken cost RM6.50.

We ate here a number of times during our holiday and loved every meal - the food is fresh and delicious, definitely was a the jewel in the crown for an otherwise disappointing holiday in Langkawi Would definitely recommend!!
