Very Pleasant Chinese Restaurant

Have been eating in this restaurant for many years. Restaurant is decorated with very luxurious traditional Chinese fittings. Serves great Sichuan style Chinese dishes such as “kong bao prawn”, “hot and sour soup”, ‘string bean”. Food quality is of very high standard, though a little pricy.

Ate here for dinner with group of work associates while doing business in JB. Food was very fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and very accomendating. Every time the tea cup was not even half empty: someone was filling it up. It was located on second floor of the hotel.

Situated in Mutiara Hotel of the former Holiday Inn in JB. It has been in JB for more than 2 decades and the food is impeccably tasty and well-deserved a praise. Strictly halal & I always bring my friends who want to try Chinese food. I especially like the fried string beans with minced chicken meat. Superb......

paid RM31++ for peking duck on their anivesary. Service was good, ordered curry prawn with shell for better taste. Coconut gravy just enough to whet the appetitite. Cod fish in hongkong style was ok and the scezhuan spicy sup was very good. Overall a satisfying meal. Will definitely return.

My daughter likes the honey chicken and the fried bun that comes with the duck. My father-in-law likes the clay pot mixed vegetables which he said is very hard to find in Singapore and I like the "zhang cha" duck with the sauce.
