Rumali basket is the best unique variety of this restaurant Curries are very tasty along with indian breads like paratha and garlic naan. Double squash orange with soda is my favorite drink over here.

From the outside this place doesn't look like much, but once inside, you are pleasantly surprised once the food arrives. The food is served hot, superbly flavored and portions are a good size. I found the pricing quite reasonable but we only had softdrinks that evening so I can't comment on drinks pricing.

Was told the food wasn't as good as an "English" curry, but was so very pleasantly surprised when I went with a group of friends. All 7 of us had different dishes, all genuinely delicious in their own right. I had the sizzling mixed grill, which was on the spicy side, but exceptionally marinated. The only small area for improvement... More

I thoroughly enjoy every visit to Bombay Palace in Blantyre. The hot curry can be very hot though when they have new staff so I usually go for the medium.

Great place to go to get some excellent Indian food in Blantyre. The place is generally quite filled with ex-pats and doesn't offer the cheapest meals, but it's worth the price. My friends also had good wine with their meal, but I stuck with the gin and tonic - also great. :)

Love the food at Bombay palace, it is fast becoming a regular haunt. Have eaten here three times in the past month and never been disappointed. Definitely recommend the Rumali basket for a starter. The food is tasty and you are always asked how hot you like your food so all taste buds can be accomodated to. It's a little... More

Didn't expect an Indian restaurant of this calibre in Blantyre. Service pretty good. Food well above average.

Bombay Palace continues to provide very good Indian cuisine. I don't think we have had a bad dinner there yet. The setting is nice although in some cases the tables can be a bit close together. I would recommend everything on the menu!

I'm regularly in Blantyre. I've eaten twice at the hoity toity fancy Ryalls 21 grill across the street, but I keep coming back here and spend half as much each time. Wonderful Indian food. I wish my stomach was bigger.

My daughter's favourite Indian in Blantyre. Only tried the takeaway myself and its both flavoursome and filling. There's plenty of variety on their menu. Unlike many located in the UK, this is closer to an authentic Indian experience.
