Went there last weekend, and have been there numerous times. The ambiance was alright, and the food was alright too, the paneer tikka masala has something to it which I just don't fancy. However, the manchow soup was really good and they've got the best naan in Malawi. Service was good too.

I have been going to the Bombay Palace for over 12 years as a regular visitor to Malawi. And the food is excellent. I once asked Elesh the owner for a recipe for his chicken Tikka masala and was told not even he knew. His Indian chefs dont give their secrets away and when they go on leave back to... More

The Rumali basket is a must try and so is the chef special miced vegetable curry. The service is good and it is good to reserve a table during Friday's. Please carry cash as cards are generally problematic

Lovely Indian restaurant directly across the road from the Protea Ryalls Hotel. Great menu options including an extensive vegetarian selection. Great curries (from mild to hot) and a great selection of Indian breads. Well worth a visit for dinner during a stay in Blantyre.

Great meal for the money. The service was excellent with a timely service for what was a group of 5. The food was good and the atmosphere most enjoyable.

Rumali basket is the best unique variety of this restaurant Curries are very tasty along with indian breads like paratha and garlic naan. Double squash orange with soda is my favorite drink over here.

From the outside this place doesn't look like much, but once inside, you are pleasantly surprised once the food arrives. The food is served hot, superbly flavored and portions are a good size. I found the pricing quite reasonable but we only had softdrinks that evening so I can't comment on drinks pricing.

Was told the food wasn't as good as an "English" curry, but was so very pleasantly surprised when I went with a group of friends. All 7 of us had different dishes, all genuinely delicious in their own right. I had the sizzling mixed grill, which was on the spicy side, but exceptionally marinated. The only small area for improvement... More

I thoroughly enjoy every visit to Bombay Palace in Blantyre. The hot curry can be very hot though when they have new staff so I usually go for the medium.

Great place to go to get some excellent Indian food in Blantyre. The place is generally quite filled with ex-pats and doesn't offer the cheapest meals, but it's worth the price. My friends also had good wine with their meal, but I stuck with the gin and tonic - also great. :)
