Tapas!

Good tapas, great drinks (Mojitos!), and all for a great value. I would highly recommend this place, it's different than typical French restaurants in Madagascar. Great english spoken.

Despite our best intentions to try as many places as we could in Diego, we ended up coming to La Bodega twice because the food was so good and creative. We had amazing seafood and nice mixed drinks. Each night they had a different menu written up on the chalkboard that gets passed around from table to table. It's a... More

The tastiest food in town and great service, very friendly staff. Try the pavé de zebu with the gratin dauphinoise, you will not be disappointed. As for dessert the fondant au chocalat is totally delicious.

The food and drinks I had there were good and worth the money. The place however was pretty empty (although I might have been too early in the evening) and filled with strange people. If you go as a group I guess it might be very funny, but alone is definitely odd.

Had a brilliant lunch here. Wonderfully fresh and interesting food, cute room. The staff seemed happy and relaxed, and mora mora was in evidence.

Contemporary restaurant in Diego. Felt like somewhere I'd hang out if I lived there. The food was excellent. It's a bit small, but we were able to cozy up at the bar to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful, and helped us to understand descriptions we didn't fully understand in French. Although it is billed in the Bradt guide... More

fantastic restaurant, tapas style food made with local ingredients - would highly recommend the wild boar terrine and the tapas sharing plate (especially the zebu - melt in the mouth!) great drinks menu as well - wide selection of beers and wines plus potent cocktails!!
