We started here for evening drinks, enjoying the sun setting over the old harbour. The service was friendly and the atmosphere relaxed, so we decided to stay for dinner. My wife's octopus was good, but my Dorado was rather disappointing for the price, it only came with a few leaves as salad and no rice or chips, and the fish... More

Just an amazing view of the sea and the fishing ships. Calm and inspiring. You can smell the sea and hear the birds' sound melting with waves' one. A wonderful combination.

Probably the freshest and best fried calamari we have ever had. It was so good we ordered another plate. The bizri fish (small fried baby sardines) were also very yummy. Service was ok, no smiles whatsoever. Wonderful view of the Byblos port and fishermen's boats.

Located right on the harbour, with a nice view and outdoor setting, this restaurant serves excellent seafood. Photos of old glory adorn every wall - the father of the owner had countless friends among European stars in the roaring 60s - and there is a miniature museum with some archaological items he found. Waiters are more efficient than warm, but... More

We had lunch for 5 and ordered mutiple appetizers to start. My favorite was the squid with its ink in a lemon sauce. My wife had a large baked fish and I had the fried sardines which were huge. We ate while enjoying the view of the port and water drinking the local beer. The location is wonderful, right on... More

fantastic location near the little fishing harbour, there is also a little 'museum' with all the finds the owner pepe fished out of the sea - great terrace to have a fresh lemonade, but for eating i would go elsewhere (the cheesecake i got was still frozen)

Fantastic view over the harbor of Byblos. The calamaris and the gambas are very good and fresh. The price is very reasonable. There is also a little museum in the front of the restaurant, worth while to visit.

The location of Pepe's is great but the food is somewhat ordinary. Having said that, it's not ridiculously expensive so you could do worse. The fact that it's often empty when other places are full suggests it's lost its reputation with Lebanese people. Average.

We had a fabulous meal- the staff were lovely, coo-ed over our (little, badly pronounced) arabic and really looked after us. The wine was great, the food was perfectly cooked, and the people watching was great. Really enjoyed it- the photos of famous diners are always entertaining, and it's certainly the only restaurant I've ever eaten in with its own... More
