This is NOT an authentic Kazakh , but one shal visit it

From abroad it does not looks so much different, but actually there are not so many dishes originated from Kazakhstan. A few of them: beshbarmak and lagman, will not be proper to try at this restaurant, in the reality, the proper place to try Kazakh dish is in FAMILY, once you are invited. And if... read more

The service was excellent and the staff handed out shawls for anyone feeling the chill on a night time. The entertainment was outstanding with dancers and a high wire act. The meal was different from home which added to the experience.

If you want to try the central asian food, this is the right place. The price is approximately 50 dollars per person if you want to have a full meal :)

This is more than a restaurant! It is a full immersion in an Uzbek experience with food and show! The show is really nice as it is typical and does not last forever! The food is good with a nice mixture of different Uzbek dishes! The only minus would be the wine list which is poor..... A good night all... More

Still the most authentic place in Almaty with fresh air and all kind of Central Asia mixed food. My first spot as soon as I come to Almaty after a long break and typical place to bring your expat colleagues and friends!

The interior is very authentic, and the place itself is very good, as it's located near the mountains, so the air is fresh. The food is nice and tasty, but a bit expensive. Also, they used to invite dancers and ropewalkers in the summer. That was a fantastic show every evening on Fri and Sat. They also have a good... More

it is the only place with a decent summer terrace for enjoying food during bright shows of local belly dancers and high roping athletes. Uzbek dishes are ok, expensive. Kazakh traditional dish Beshparmak is not recommended, it is far from being tasty. In the winter the show is inside and bright enough as well, no high roping though.

The food was expensive, but it was very good - we particularly enjoyed the wedding plov. It was a chilly night so we all ended up wearing the heavy gold embroidered coats supplied by the restaurant (once they'd found them - they seemed to be in short supply). The entertainment was great fun for a couple of westerners with kids... More

Entertainment (local music, dance, acrobat, etc) especially performaed outside in summer season is fantastic for foreign visitors. Food is also nice but expensive.
