It's a traditional Kazakh cusine. There was no special event when I'm there but normally there are some shows. Mantı, sashlik chiborek are favorites.

Entertaining dancing, good Uzbek food make this a great venue for bringing visitors to, to give a flavour of Central Asia. Worth booking in advance for good table to watch dancers.

Alasha is one of rare venues where you get live evening entertainment. Traditional Uzbek, Kazakh dancing show starts at 20.45, last for about an hour with belly dancers' performance at the end. Performance wary between winter and summer, summer performance is better. Food is overpriced for traditional Uzbek and Kazakh dishes. Service is good, but can get slower during rush... More

The place has really tasty shahliks, I really enjoyed them there. Some other friends did order manty, but it wasn't great. One of the few downsides is that the music inside the place is really loud so its hard to hear your frirnds next to you. I don't know why thry require 3 electric guitars in that small dining area... If you would like to taste local food, this place is ideal for spending a good time with good choice of local food. The decoration is pleasant and you can feel the atmosphere of East.

A tourist/business must do. Lovely food, ok service, fun entertainment. Loved the dancing. This is an Uzbekistan treat. Not too expensive.

I think many of the negative reviews are unfair -- or at least not reflective of my experience. The decor and ambiance was very enjoyable (I cannot say if it was authentic or not). The service was excellent and professional and the food was fine. The entertainment was good -- the band did not pretend to be authentic -- and... More

The show is at 8:30. Belly dancing and Russian dancing and local Kazak dancing combined. Lovely costumes. Before and after the show there is a band. When we were there they were singing Beatles songs in unintelligible English. The food is mediocre at best. The traditional dish is noodles with horse or plov, which is the Kazak version of fried... I am here for the second time and the second time I admire. Everything that I try - a stunningly delicious. I advise you to try all the shaskyks - the menu is very convenient and you can order for one stick. The restaurant's hall is huge, high ceilings, richly decorated - it seems that we have dinner at the... More
