Alasha offers tasty delicious Uzbek cuisine with an entertainment show after dinner. Great for Shashlik and manti, service was very great and our foreign friends loved the show.

The restaurant was a mix of Uzbek and Kazakh. The food was tasty and everything was clean. The service was good. In the evenings they have dancers showing local dances. The strange thing, was that at the end the dancers were starting to collect money for their dance. Usually, what I have seen in other countries, the entertainment was like... More

I spent 4400 tenge on a decent pilov, one kebab, and a .5 liter aloe juice. After reading these reviews, I was pretty disappointed. The show was cheesy and they sat me directly behind a massive pole. This dinner was more expensive than my hostel+two hours at Arasan baths. In the US, I would have gotten something far better for... More

This restaurant resembles a traditional Karavansarai with beautiful decor. Food is very good. They normally have dance shows, which are nice enough, but seem to be followed by bands afterwards, so it can get rather loud.

Service is very nice and polite and ambience of the place was themed and contained many traditional artifacts. Shashlik was very tasty but portions were small for the price, wine expect to pay 10,000 KZT a bottle and up.

I do think that it is the best restaurant for foreigners to visit. However the cuisine is not pure Kazakh but more of a Uzbek. Still they do have show program at night and in summer nights you better book in advance. Not in a walking distance from the city center, however it will worth it.

It's a traditional Kazakh cusine. There was no special event when I'm there but normally there are some shows. Mantı, sashlik chiborek are favorites.

Entertaining dancing, good Uzbek food make this a great venue for bringing visitors to, to give a flavour of Central Asia. Worth booking in advance for good table to watch dancers.

Alasha is one of rare venues where you get live evening entertainment. Traditional Uzbek, Kazakh dancing show starts at 20.45, last for about an hour with belly dancers' performance at the end. Performance wary between winter and summer, summer performance is better. Food is overpriced for traditional Uzbek and Kazakh dishes. Service is good, but can get slower during rush... More

The place has really tasty shahliks, I really enjoyed them there. Some other friends did order manty, but it wasn't great. One of the few downsides is that the music inside the place is really loud so its hard to hear your frirnds next to you. I don't know why thry require 3 electric guitars in that small dining area...
