We sat on balcony and enjoyed a good meal and smooth service - we shared some appetizers as well as sashlik, all very tasty. The selection of draft beers was good although we were surprised that they only served expensive bottled water (Voss) instead of the locally available Tassay. It did end up being a fairly expensive meal but no... More

We were 3 vegetarians with a carnivore… we managed to have great meals ( the Asian menu was very good for this, tofu and fresh vegetables). Nice choice of beers and very pleasant atmosphere. Great live music, a couple, the female singer with a lovely voice and a really accomplished pianist. We would definitely go back there.

The waitresses are VERY unfriendly. Portions are small. Quality is average. And prices very high. I would absolutely NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. Just read the reviews on this site and it explains for itself! Wish I had done this before I went there.............

Went with a few colleagues last week on the recommendation of a friend. The white beer was very like hoogarden very tasty. We all had the devils steak medium rare with baked potatoes. What can I say ...... The best steak I have had in Kazakhstan. Great charcoal grill taste and cooked perfectly. I can highly recommend this place and... More

This place is quite old and constantly good. They are famous for their steaks and beer. I also like their Eastern quisine - dumplings with shrimps is my favorite. Not the same opinion about their desserts though. Overall, really good place, one of my favorite.

I ordered the platter with baked potatoes. The chicken was basically raw so I didn't try it but the tenderloin was actually very nice. The platter comes with a bunch of options but the only ones worth mentioning are the tenderloin and the lamb chops. The rest is very average. I explained that the chicken was way under-cooked and I... More

Nice restaurant. English menu, bit high priced, but meat was awesome. I suggest horse meat in stone, just amazing. Fondue was good too! Live music was so loud that made conversation hard to follow

Up on terrasse, there is very atmosphere through all summer. Reservation is needed in most evenings. Good, but expensive food. Live music.

We (couple) were there 17th Dec 2013, restaurant was 20% full (1930hrs) and straight away we felt the waitresses did not want us there....more work to do rather than chatting to themselves which they did all night long. The place has a great ambiance, location and menu. Yes prices are high and if we had a resemblance of service I... More

We went as a group of 15 with work and spent quite a deal of time being plied with drinks before they finally served up our steaks which were, admittedly, pretty good. Good for an expat business meeting, but expensive otherwise.
