this is on of the 3 Tyubeteika restaurants in Almaty, all belong to the same chain. The other two is one on Abay Avenue within Globus Shopping Center, and third one on Dostyk Avenue above Satpaeva street. Great place for Uzbek traditional Plov (rice dish), shashlyki (kebabs), Samsa, achichuk (salad with fresh tomatoes and onions). Good service, great authentic Uzbek... More

Was there for quick dinner and drink with friends. Food and service was really good. A bit large place to my taste.

This is a comfortable place to eat at. Food was very nice from traditional salads to a nice range of meats. Alcohol selection not great. Service very reasonable for this part of the world. They take plastic.

It is very well-known place for its big variety of Central Asian cuisine because it is not only Uzbek food there, you can find traditional Kazakh, Uigur dishes. For me it is a proven place for a tasty food and good service. I always recommend it to my guests or business partners who stay in Rakhat Palace Hotel, it is... More

They offer very good Uzbek food in typical Uzbek ambiance. Very good selection on the menu and their Uzbek Pulaov is very good.

Went there for a supper with my friend. The food was good, the place itself cosy, rustic. The only thing is the lighting level - it was too bright, there was too much light, especially for a dinner. It felt a bit strange, devoid of intimacy completely, but it´s only a minor point.

As the first dinner for our business delegation travelling to Almaty, this was suggested to us by our local counterparts.. The menu provides a great selection of dishes not only Kazakh but also from surrounding regions. We tried manti, shashlik, plov and tartar.. It was all quite food.. The plov was made of horsemeat, which was a first for our... More

I've eaten here a number of times (its close to my office). The food is generally good and priced reasonably; service is hit and miss and getting change back from the bill can be challenging! Overall if central asian food (and service) is your thing then the restaurant is worth a shot.

The food was good, local, hearty. The only problem was - they forgot to bring mine! We had a dinner with several colleagues and everyone got their orders apart from me. When asked about it, it turned out that they have run out of the stuff that I have ordered! I had to spend another half an hour trying to... More

Great variety of tastes on the menu. The quality of the food is good and so is the service. Excellent outside seating, if you want in private area. The traditionals are excellent, plov, besbarmac etc. Very tasty of you like this kind of food of course.
