As the first dinner for our business delegation travelling to Almaty, this was suggested to us by our local counterparts.. The menu provides a great selection of dishes not only Kazakh but also from surrounding regions. We tried manti, shashlik, plov and tartar.. It was all quite food.. The plov was made of horsemeat, which was a first for our... More

I've eaten here a number of times (its close to my office). The food is generally good and priced reasonably; service is hit and miss and getting change back from the bill can be challenging! Overall if central asian food (and service) is your thing then the restaurant is worth a shot.

The food was good, local, hearty. The only problem was - they forgot to bring mine! We had a dinner with several colleagues and everyone got their orders apart from me. When asked about it, it turned out that they have run out of the stuff that I have ordered! I had to spend another half an hour trying to... More

Great variety of tastes on the menu. The quality of the food is good and so is the service. Excellent outside seating, if you want in private area. The traditionals are excellent, plov, besbarmac etc. Very tasty of you like this kind of food of course.

If you are interested in a little sip of Uzbek culture - it worth to visit. But I am not fan of this very type of the asian restaurants. If I would choose where to have manty, plov, Kazakh meat, or even guiru or tsomyan I would actually go to UZBECHKA.

I've enjoyed this restaurant a couple times during a recent business trip. The food was always good however be forwarned that no one spoke English. It was alittle hard to make out the menu but we did. All the dishes I tried were very good and the service was good too.

Went there two times in business trips - in 2009 and in 2013. Going to visit it once again. All the dishes were perfect. The only negative is - once we tried red wine from Georgia and it was a fake one. Got sick all 4 of us.

If you came for 2 days trip, and don't have time to see and feel eastern cuisine - go to Tubiteika. You can taste the best in the city Plov, Manti (both - uzbekh cuisine) and Beshparmak (traditional kazakh meal). Each of the meals is for two europeans, but kazakhs thinks, that the meals are for 1 person. So, if... More

This is a great place for local and uzbek cuisine. Good quality food, interior and service. Not cheap. By the way it's a network and I fine the one on Dostyk street better.
