I have gone their with a group of lady friends many times. They have a very fresh lunch menu. Private rooms for large groups such as ours. Wonderful bread/soup bowl filled with homemade soups. It is in a refurbished farm house and has a lot of antiques that are being used. Great place.

Chat-a-Wyle, located in the house on what was a fur fox farm, between Binghamton and Owego, New York, is a unique experience. The decor is strictly 1940s-1950's kitchen, complete with enamel-topped kitchen tables with metal legs (I'm sure you remember those), plates and old prints on the walls, lacy curtains and old mirrors. The staff are all local ladies, who... More

My husband is disappointed that they are only open for lunch. Great food that you can tell is fresh and homemade which is extremely rare these days. Very quaint. Loved how all the tables are different. Big fan of how it is an old house so you are in a room with only two other tables (at least in the... More

My mother and I usually have lunch here on Monday's. It is our little escape, and together time. The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed, and friendly, and best of all, we're never rushed. I've never had a bad meal or service here. I highly recommend it......

My wife and I had lunch together here for the first time. The establishment is set at an old farmhouse. The soup is amazing and is worth the stop alone.

I stopped for lunch with friends. I ordered the half-sandwich and a cup of soup combo: chicken marsala with garlic mayo on focaccia and autumn harvest soup. The sandwich was delicious, having a definite marsala taste, and the soup tasted like warm pumpkin pie, although not as sweet. The soup had a generous sprinkling of cinnamon on top, giving it... Great soups everyday and terrific sandwiches. 6 or 7 soups on the menu everyday. I love the cheesy potato, the taco, and the autumn havest. Soups can be searved in a bowl or a bread bowl. The turkey sandwich is made with turkey carved off the bone! it is fab!

Chat-a-Wyle has been a fav lunch spot for us since it started in Endicott, NY many years ago. We love the home made soups, the chicken salad, and the turkey cranberry sandwich (on fresh focaccia), and of course the fudge pudding cake. My absolute fav soup is Shaker chicken, but this one is not on the regular soup menu....it is... More

Love the eclectic kitchen table dining atmosphere. Quality home cooking and knowledgeable, friendly servers. Fantastic homemade soups - you can't go wrong, making the selection is the challenge! I had an autumn soup and half sandwich, my aunt had a small salad and was quite pleased with the portion. Perfect lunch spot to enjoy our surroundings, the quality food, and... More

We enjoy going to Chat-A-While for delicious homemade soups/sandwiches/drinks. It is in an old farmhouse and each room is decorated with its own theme. The service is wonderful and the servers are always pleasant. The owner (chef) always comes out of the kitchen periodically to check on everyone’s meal at all of the tables. Your meal is served on sparkling... More
