Interesting find

We came across this restaurant by chance whilst walking around in Bashimichi area. It was lunch time and on a sunday. the place was not packed yet. The food was surprisingly good and value for money. Lunch set included ice cream and free refillable coffee.

If I had 6 stars, I would give it to Charcoal Grill. We have been here three times. They periodically change the menu to keep it fresh, but in the process never lose making consistently delicious food. Good steak with magical dipping sauces, yummy salmon, fresh bread, great appetizers, nice laid back environment. Conveniently located between Ishikawacho station and Motomach... More

They have a good selection of drinks and the food is great too. Though kids are allowed, I felt I was the lone one with kids . There is a good mix of people as well. I would definitely recommend. It is right near the station as well

Green has become a bit of an institution amongst the Yokohama expat community. It serves amazing food that is largely European with a Japanese twist. Whilst there are cheaper places to eat, Green consistently serves fresh and delicious food. One of my favourite dishes is the Pork Belly served with wasabi infused coleslaw. The chicken burrito starter is also a... More

We go to Green frequently, so do our friends, we love it there, especially the grilled chicken wrap starter, it is beyond delicious. Fries are really good too. They have weekly specials, which are probably best described as asian fusion. Decent wine selection. f you are more than 2 dining before 9 I would suggest a reservation.

Is what other restaurants should be...... Not the easiest to find and because of its quality of food and small inside I would say reservations are a must. I have only ever been midweek (as an overseas business traveller) so I would imagine weekends are very full. The food which you can see being cooked from many of tables/seats is... More

Though you might not be impressed by the interior finish (exposed-cement-parking-garage-chic) what Grill Green lacks in interior decor it makes up in atmosphere and food. The hard working staff speak fluent english (menu too). Most of the menu finds its way on the to the char-grill (fashioned Texas-style out of a 55 gallon barrel cut in half) including the caesar... We go to the restaurant in Bashamichi, not the one in Ishikawa-cho, and we absolutely love it there. The lamb chops are grilled to perfection and their grilled Caesar salad is really great. If you'd like to enjoy a variety, try their meat delight. The pork served with that plate is so tender it melts in your mouth. We've had... More

A bit hard to find but well worth the effort. This is a very good grill restaurant, that does superb meat dishes. We enjoyed the local beer and great steaks - even my 19 year old son loved it. The tables are small so if you order several dishes, see if they can stagger their delivery.

I live not too far from the Ishikawa place, the original. It's tiny, and I think that the 4 instead of 5 stars come from mainly foreigners and those Japanese who feel that 5 stars require stuffy service and precious metal utensils. This place is very casual but the food is serious. What is amazing is that they have the... More
