I have been here with friends seven or so times, it always excellent, well prepared, well served and with great choices. The chicken with dirty rice, mixed French fries and hummus are my favourites. I have also had lamb spare ribs, steak and pork, all cooked to perfection. Good wine selection and array of draft beers. There is simply everything right... More

This is a good restaurant to eat but was better before the chef moved to Bashamichi restaurant, so I now go there to eat. The one in Yokohama need to teach the chef better. I have gotten very bloody burgers there lately and they said it is made that way. This was dripping blood and raw, not good at all.... More

I went looking for a good meal and found it just a few steps away from my hotel. Charcoal Grill Green have a fusion of Western and Asian flavours and a nice selection of wine. Very welcoming staff with a great atmosphere and rustic feel. Will definitely be returning before heading home.

It's like a small bar with a few tables round it, one minute's walk from Bashamich train station (south of Exit 3, I think). We couldn't get in on Saturday night - full up. Another night, I had a steak and fries, good value, very cheerful English-speaking staff, good ambience.

We went to Green Bashamichi tonight for a farewell dinner for our son. The wood tables and bar are reminiscent of a rustic gastropub. It would be great in the summer when the windows could be open. They have a good selection of interesting local beers on tap. The wine list is limited, though better than our local pub in... More

Excellent, fresh food. This is a small, welcoming restaurant with a range of fusion Asian/Western dishes.

A lively and fun restaurant in a perfect setting in quiet neighbourhood, Bashamichi, Charcoal Green surpassed my expectations. The fusion menu, expertly cooked by Scottish Chef, Jason, who draws from his experience cooking around the world, provided excitement for mine and the party's taste buds. From Akkeshi clams in a chorizo broth to Autumnal Salmon with mushroom risotto, the majority... More

Seems like most of the restaurants at the top ranks for Yokohama are from tourists who don't leave their hotels, or who found a brochure for Chinatown. Green has been going strong for a few years now, and has some of the best atmosphere for a western-style restaurant in Yokohama. The food is hard to sum up because it ranges... More
